I recently took my Ski-Doo snowmobile in for engine work at the registered Ski-doo Dealership known as Filer's Power Sports in Macedon, NY just outside of Rochester, NY. The following day I received a call indicating that the repair needed an additional part resulting in an additional $400 than they originally estimated. When I pick up the machine and pay the bill, I asked to see the damaged part. Reluctantly they showed me the part and neither one of us could identify the damage that they originally suggested was a problem. Since the part was already installed they wanted to charge me to remove the part but were willing to give me credit for the part. I refused them to remove the part since I was unwilling to pay them anymore. In summary I was overcharged and asked not to bring my snowmobiles in for any future repair. Now I have all my service work done by 7s Cycle Supply in LeRoy, NY.
