You google a movie, find site saying you can download it, get redirected to another site (flixaddict.com -already reported as a scam on this site) and asked to create a log in id. You are then redirected to WWW:FILMLUSH.COM, and asked to submit credit card info to become a member on a 5 day free trial membership or other paying options.
You'll be able to watch all the movies you want for free! Presumably, one would think, including the one that got you there in the first place. But no...
False advertising -they do not have the movie you wanted.
If you don't cancel after the 5 day trial, they charge $35 a month (which information they include at some obscure part of their site, certainly not accessible from the credit card info request page).
You signed up online (assuming signing up was free, let's not forget!).
Yet if you cancel online, you're charged $1.
You call for an explanation, they act as if they don¡t understand your questions, then offer to cancel your membership.
I have read that this site is reliable but...
How is this not a scam???
