I have been a long time player of final fantasy, 7 years to be exact, and pay monthly to play the game.
There are different activities to play in the game, one being crafting... in order to buy gear, etc in the game you must pay for it, by earning gil(money), therefore you earn it. Well, i was in the process of skilling up
my crafting skill, and was banned due to the fact that they assumed i was illegally earning gil (money).
There are individuals who do illegal activities in the game, but i am not one of them, but because i was innocently skilling up my craft i was banned. I went to log in and wasn't able to, i was given a website to respond to, and a phone number. I called, and was treated badly by the first representative who refused to help me and stated that there was nothing i could do, i then called back and spoke to another representative who told me to verify I.D. and submit a reinstatement form, which i did. They told me i would hear from them within a week, i wasn't really concerned about the outcome because i was innocent and submitted the info. they requested, well i received the outcome... banned .. no explanation .. This company assumed something that was completly wrong, making me out to be an individual who does illegal activities, and this is totally false, i feel my rights have been violated, and the bad thing about it is i can do nothing. I truly hope other individuals who have also been treated unfairly and unjustly will complain as well. The gaming industry is evolving and becoming rich, and mistreating it's clients.. hopefully this will start something that will help the consumer. Thank you
