I received a call from "Eric Gray" calling me from number 975-13-5170 stating there was a case opened against me and provided me with my social security number in full. When asking what this was in regard to he simply stated I would have to speak with one of his head attorneys. I hung up the phone and Googled the company name provided Financial Crime Prevention Unit. I learned through other posts that this is a scam company in the mean time they called me 2x and left a voicemail stating to have my attorney contact them and this was a time critical thing or they would take legal action against me and call my employer as well as 2 friends of mine. I returned the call demanding to be removed from their systems "Eric Gray" then told me ok I will make sure you get 1, 000 calls today and hung up on me. I called the same number (610-243-1818) again glutton for punishment that I am and informed "Mr. Gray" that I knew this was a scam and if he continued to harass me I would report him to the authorities and wanted my information removed from their files. He said sarcastically "Oh no then I will be behind bars." and laughed at me. I told him I would be contacting an attorney and that would be the only contact with me he would have and then hung up. I also found out that they use a call center in India to place all these calls so of course he is not concerned. DO NOT GIVE THESE PEOPLE ANY INFORMATION ON YOU! If anyone knows how to get rid of this please let me know they have my full Social Security number and I don't owe any payday loans whatsoever.
