I bought curtaining from Fiona's Fashions on 15th August 2008. I returned the curtain on 3rd June 2009 because it had faded considerably. I was told that they would contact the supplier and get back to me. On 5th September 2009 I revisited them as they had not got back to me. I was told that the supplier would not refund me or replace the material. When I pointed out that they were responsible as they had sold me the material, they refused saying it was not their problem. They said that because it was silk it was prone to fade, but they never warned me when I purchased the material.
I have been a customer of Fiona's for 35 years and found them dismissive, arrogant and totally unsympathetic to my situation.
