Do not make the same mistake I did
Even after listing the manufacter requirements on my bill they put the wrong oil in my car. When I questioned them about it they told me not to worry and refused fix their mistake. Do not make the same mistake I did, go to a better service center.

Do not go to Firestone for just an oil change without looking over everything
My Mother, a senior citizen went to firestone for a oil change 29.99 and when she checked out her bill was 224.99 thank goodness I review her bills when I saw it I looked it over and they somehow convinced her she needed a 140.00 wheel alignment warranty. she has a new car.. the rest of the money was they balanced her tires none of which she asked for. My mother doesnt even know what a wheel alignment is. I demanded the return the money and they said she was aware, but to this day she still doenst know. the took advantage of her age and knowledge, I did get the money back for her warranty but not the other things she had done that she didnt ask for. dont go to firestone for just a oil change without looking over everything..

Buyer beware
I bought 2 sets of these online, Buyer Beware!!!
The incompetent workers at Firestone cannot figure out how to pack all of the parts or the correct parts. Both sets were missing air fittings, and the bolts that were supposed to be 3.5" were 3", when I called the company we bought them from they gave me the Firestone tech support number 1-800-888-0650, the man that I talked to was rude and couldn't care less. When I told him I was going to slam Firestone on the internet he asked if I wanted to talk to their legal department. When I said why would I talk to them this isn't a legal matter he said slander is. A complete idiot!

Unethical/Scam
I went into the Mall of Georgia location when I noticed 2 of my tires were falling appart from the inside. This was very dangerous and that location was the closest tires shop. They did not have the size tires I needed in stock and I needed tires before I could drive anywhere. They located some tires they could get the next day but told me they were "junk" but for double the price I could get some others they could also get the next day. I wasn't excited to get "bad tires" so I called my brother in law who is a Master Tech for a large auto company, he found me 4 very good tires. I called Firestone to ask if they would put on the tires if I brought them in, they said yes. I was late and still could not get them on same day. I left the truck overnight and they were to put the tires on first thing in the am. I recieved a call in the am stating the "district office called them and told them it was against company policy to put my tires on because I did not purchase them there". THIS was a blatant LIE, because I called 3 other locations in my areas and all were MORE than willing to put them on for me. I feel this manger was a bully and he wanted to send me driving off on extremly dangerous tires to "show me" that I should have bought the tires he was PUSHING on me. And we all must ask ourselves, why would this company sell anything that it's managers deem "JUNK". This is our safety riding on these tires and they OPENLY experess they sell junk???? DO NOT GO TO THIS LOCATION< if you are in this area I would suggest the Snellville location when I called there the manager was kind, gracious and trully wanted to help.

Complete rip off
Firestone is a complete ripoff. My 83 year old mom went there for a tuneup and came out with a 2400.00 bill on a credit card she didn't know sh was getting. She thought it was a loan, they told her she could make small monthly payments. They didn't tell her it was at 23% interest. Her car only has 71, 000 miles on it, they replaced the struts, shocks, brakes and a lot more. Attonery General investigators have contacted us regarding our complaint. We hope they stop them from ripping people off.

Major Overcharge
Four Spark Plugs
Four Spark Plug Wires
Fuel Injector Cleaner
$381.90
That's right, $381.90 was charged to change 4 spark plugs, 4 spark plug wires, and to add fuel injector cleaner by Firestone.
Yesterday, December 9, 2009, my fiancee brought her Hyundai Elantra to the Firestone Complete Auto Care in Covington, KY, because her engine was running rough. She's been a regular customer of theirs for 10 years and they had taken advantage of her in the past. But, yesterday, they put the computer analyzer machine on her car, then determined the problem.
They charged $21.99 for "Vehicle Inspection", minus a "discount" of $1.10. Then they charged her $79.99 for "Computerized Engine Analysis". Spark plugs (4) $5.99 each, $23.96 total. Ignition wires, $89.90. Labor - spark plugs $42.50. Labor - ignition wires $42.50, minus $5.69 and minus $4.25 (special discount).
Then "Ever-Wear Fuel System Maintenance", $39.99 (fuel injector cleaner) and "Fuel System Service Labor", $55.00, minus $8.42 and minus $11.58.
Total parts - $139.74
Total labor - $221.05
Supplies - $12.01
Tax - $9.10
Total $381.90
When my fiancee came home last night, she wasn't happy and I asked her what happened. She handed me the invoice, # 079012, and after I looked at it for several minutes, I called their "Customer Retention" toll-free number, (800) 367-3872, and spoke with a young lady, Maricel, who is in Canada. I gave her all of the information. She attempted to resolve this by putting me on hold and calling the store, but the store manager was not there. After she got back on the phone with me, I gave her instructions that in no way did I want this resolved through the store, but only by Firestone Corporate Headquarters. I asked her to let me know that this conversation was recorded and to make sure that it was heard by management. She assured me that their Corporate Headquarters would call me "within two business days". So, I will wait until they call.
But, since my fiancee also had a problem with another company called National Dealers Warranty Inc, a total scam company that takes your money, but does not honor their extended warranty contract, and she contacted John Matarese with WCPO, Channel 9, who does his "Don't Waste Your Money" segment, and also Howard Ain of Channel 12, who does his "Trouble Shooter" segment, if Firestone does not resolve this situation, I will broadcast this repair bill in all of the Greater Cincinnati area for all to see and do as much damage to their business as possible.
Firestone Complete Auto Care will rip you off at every attempt. So will National Dealers Warranty Inc. Avoid them both.

Disguntal Ex-Employee

Managers Lie to you and Employees
I recently started a new job in Clarksville, TN at the local Firestone Complete Auto Care. The second day on the job Scott Baker (Store Manager) leaves to go test drive a boat for three hours. WOW!! Two Days!! Was told that I would receive base plus commission once I finished my four training exercise, I did that. NO commission. Later on in Atlanta in a New Teammate Orientation that there was twelve more training exercises I need to complete. I then started taking them. One day the store was slow so Scott let me take some of the training exercises on-line. The phone rings, customers come in, I went outside to assist a customer, I came back in and Scott Baker has FAILED my tests. WHAT the Store manager!! Come On!! Firestone also promotes a Hostile environment. I was threatened by an employee; I spoke to Scott about it. The employee still works for Firestone. I asked for a transfer from the store manager three times, no answer!! I scheduled an appointment with the District Manager Chuck Oertly. Once I sat down with Chuck he told me that Scott told him I threw my store keys at him in front of customers and employees, this never happened. I still had my store keys in my pocket. Don't you think if that happened I would not have my keys, HUH!!! LIES!!! Chuck also informed me that he and Scott had a fourteen year relationship and Scott Baker doesn't lie to me. WHAT!! Ok well I am now telling you about the invitation for the butt whooping that Michael Hamilton mouthed to me in front of customers. I could keep going!! Max Patton is the service manager; he thinks he is God, FAR FROM IT!! He talks down to the customer like they are stupid or tell them the problem with there car is too dangerous to drive, so the customer is scared to drive it, unless it’s fixed. THAT IS NOT SALES. He speaks to the employees like we were dogs, you do not have to holler at someone to get something done. That is bad business. A customer dropped of her car for an oil change, she was called back by Max and told all her tires were worn and was very dangerous to drive. OK. She said to put her some tires on, she comes to pick her vehicle up and wanted to see her old tires, of course Max has left for the day. I escort her out to the shop to show her the damaged tires. Their was nothing wrong with the tires that come off the car. She was irate which I would have been too, beings she was told they were damaged. I tried to apply for unemployment until I could find another job, I was denied. I was explained by the agent in the unemployment office that I walked out on Chuck Oertly in our meeting!! WHAT!! I absolutely love what I done and would still be there or at another Firestone if this would have been handled properly. I know this is not going to get my job back, but keep in mind…. FIRESTONE WILL LIE TO YOU!!! Like I said I could keep going!!!
Do not get ripped off by Firestone Complete Auto Care.

customer service fraud
I would like to express my frustration with the customer service provided by the Firestone Store # 011630 in Port Orange, FL. I have been customer in this location for over 3 years. Many times I have been provided with different repair services and was always under direct pressure by the employees, assuring me of the necessity of action. Just recently I ordered 4 tires from this store and by installation was prompted to do alignment. I postponed and after I proceeded at another repair shop with replacement of the front left axle and assurance that the right one is ok, a week later I brought the car back to Store # 011630 in Port Orange, FL for the alignment. After the car was lifted and inspected I was told by the store manager that I need a right front tie rod replacement in order to proceed with the alignment. This is obvious a pure extortion because after my refusal to change the part the car was not serviced. I was denied alignment unless replacing the tie rod!!! This is just another typical treatment in this store I received. The same day I went to Firestone store # 004162 in Daytona Beach and the technicians inspected the car, did the alignment, test drove the vehicle and stated that it runs good and the condition was good. Their overall performance completely contradicted the one from store #011630. I am extremely shocked from the repeatedly maleficent customer care, extortion with unnecessary services and waist of time for me as a customer, as well as ignorance towards my preferences. I apply to you for explanation of the different standards in these stores. How is it possible to receive service in one location and get the opposite result of inspection from another? The manager in store #011630 was assuring me how damaged the tie rod was, and this was completely refuted in two other automotive shops. I believe that this is a very hostile customer service and I doubt it should be supported by Firestone Complete Auto Care policy. I would appreciate some explanation as I am determined not to tolerate such attitude.
Kind Regards,
Marin Staevski

Firestone sucks

Payed Almost $2,ooo to get car fixed 100% and was not fixed properly
I paid almost $2, ooo to get car fixed to be 100%. Firestone looked over my car and gave me a printout of all things that needed to be fixed and said my car would be like new. Well they didnt do all of the work that I paid for and had charged me 14 hours of labor when they only had my car for 9. Labor is at $45/hr. They are ripoffs. Do not go there for anything.
