Extremely Bad Company
This company is just about the worst I have ever encountered. I waited more than a month for A/C in the height of Houston's hot summer. This was the second new one that these idiots paid for because they wouldn't let the first A/C man install a cover that was compliant with the new A/C he installed. They said the cover that I had was six years old (as opposed to the A/C that was more than 30 years old), so he was to keep the cover. Well, he told them this was not wise. That it would break the new unit he was putting in. Sure enough, 6 months later, they had to install a whole new unit. I had to wait another month, through horrible hardships and great expense (had to move out it was too hot to stay there). They don't note your calls. They don't make good on their promises. I have a leak right now that's going on a month. The dispicable people they send don't know their job at all. So far, two plumbers and two appliance companies have tried to find the leak. No luck. I have to work only on their schedule and jump through hoops trying to have people go to my house to let them in. I have never run into any of their workman who were nice, let alone competent. Dealing with them, and the disgraceful companies they contract with, is a nightmare. I only keep them because I am poor. Any kind of help with repairs on a 50+ unit is better than none. I could not afford to do repairs to the things that have gone wrong these last few years. I am always prepared though, to pay the price for being poor with horrid service, rude companies and a complete disregard for my comfort and safety. If you can afford any other alternative, PLEASE DO SO. DO NOT USE FIRST AMERICAN HOMEBUYERS FOR ANY REASON. WARN OTHERS.
