After paying off the balance on my credit card with this company, I sent them a formal letter requesting they close my account and notify the credit bureaus that my account was closed. I also requested they send me written confirmation of this action.
They have not responded and I am sending them a second notice requiring their compliance. They have also sent me a notice of their new rewards program for using my card. Since I have requested closure of this account, they should not be sending me any notices including the card number that should no longer be active.
