Per instruction from VW SA my car was towed to Lindsy Saker Midrand and damaged on delivery. I was not present, but noticed the damage when I arrived the next day to collect my vehicle.

Damage was done to the front spoiler; this clearly happened as they offloaded the vehicle. Allan (services manager) then instructed the technician to note it on the damage sheet so that it could be taken up with First Road.

After following up with VW no one is willing to own up. VW SA even sent me a nice letter telling me to go to hell.

This just adds to the previous insults: Ashley (the salesman at Linsy Saker who sold me the car) lied to me about the cost of adding the capability to play MP3's to the car. He told me I would have to spend R 2, 500 or so, later it turned out it was more like R 2, 500 plus R 13, 000.
