I visited this clinic in July 2009 for a followup test to my Lymes diagnosis in June 2009. When the nurse injected to take my blood, I had excruciating pain. I have never had any trouble giving blood in my entire life. Dr. Weinman came in and completed the blood test. He called to advise the test was still positive and to repeat the test in a few weeks. When I returned, his sister (also an MD) she refused to give me the followup Lymes test although I advised her that Dr. Weinman had requested it(and I had driven an hour each way). She said "If you have ever had Lymes, you will always test positive for the rest of your life so there is no use to doing another test!" She seemed uninterested in helping me and somewhat agitated by my requests. I was having neurological complications and requested a mercury and lead test, as she had no suggestions. I called Dr. Weinman and advised that she refused to administer his suggested test. He told me to return and that he would personally call me and compare the numbers when I returned. I asked for the tests to be faxed to another doctor (which never happened). They called with the results of 2 tests but not the 3rd. Dr. Weinman never called to "compare the numbers" as he had stated. When I recontacted him, he did not remember the case. When reminded, he said "No numbers on the 1st test - Western Blot...sometimes they give us numbers and sometimes they don't". I pointed out that the 1st test and the 2nd test by the clinic were different tests (and therefore not comparable), he responded "this is not my specialty". It is difficult to understand that MD's in one of the country's highest Lymes -infected areas cannot read and discuss Lymes blood work. It was also the attitude of both doctors and the lack of followup that was very disappointing.
