I agree with the other complainant, FirstLine Security is hands down the worst. Their system sent out several false alarms from my house as well. Then in Jan. 2008 the controller power supply shorted out and caught fire almost burning our house down. This was after I called them a week earlier to report the power supply was VERY warm. They said that was normal. After we put out the fire I called and FirstLine said they would have a service tech out the next day to resolve the problem. (Funny how when the fire alarm went off the monitoring service didn’t call and the fire dept. didn’t show up this time) No one from FirstLine ever showed up or called. FirstLine ignored repeated phone calls and messages. I stopped making my monthly payments and (surprise) they called to find out where my payment was. I told them they breached the contract and needed to come pull their equipment. A month later a tech showed up to service the system, he was shocked to find out he was there to pull a system (guess they don’t even talk to their techs) * months later they tried to take money out of my checking account, I had the charges reversed and have been fighting FirstLine Security, Alarm Services, AKA Alarm Traders ever since. Alarm Services claim they have been monitoring a system that has been gone for over a year. I have reported all of them to the WA and UT BBB. And the WA State Attorney Generals Office has been trying to get them off my back for almost all of 2009. Watch out for these guys they are the slimiest of scum!!
