Trying to charge debit for services not ordered
I did not place this order. It is a scam

We have attempted to call the 800 # below and have waited for an hour and no service. We do not want the service below. Do not fulfill this order #5298189. If you charge my card I will prosecute you for fraud. I will also place a complaint. WE HAVE NOT PLACED AN ORDER WITH YOU. This is a SCAM.

Dear kathy searan,
Over the recent months you may have noticed that you have not been charged to continue to use the benefits that our on-line Fit Factory program has to offer. We were busy making improvements to our services and decided that while making these improvements we would make sure that you still had access to all that you had come to appreciate before.
Now that these changes are complete and we are equipped to assist you even more, we will now be resuming your normal billing schedule. The card that was used to purchase our program will be billed on or after Monday, August 16th, by "CerbMan*healthforever".
Of course you are under no obligation to continue the use of our program. If you are no longer in need of our assistance please contact us at 800-545-1762 where we can discuss further options for you. For reference, your order number is 5298189.
We thank you for your business and look forward to the opportunity to continue to have you as a customer.
Sincerely,
Customer Service Support Center

13 months of unauthorized charges to credit card
A 21 day free trial offer burried in the details of another purchase. Cancelled 1st offer but free offer program was not also cancelled. THIS IS WRONG. Takes advantage of consumer, especially the elderly. Federal Trade Commission should look into this type of business practice. These charges are fraudulent.

What can be done?

unauthorized credit card charges
How is this possible. I noticed the $29.95 charge just this morning. It looks very familiar to my gym membership, so I let it slip for a few months.

I called the number. It was all very shady. Terrible connection. Couldn't tell me what the product was or even their name!

Told me that I signed up for the service, which they still couldn't name or describe.

I lost my head a little and they said they would credit 3 months of the charges (out of 7...yeah, that's my fault). Instead I received an email welcoming me to some fitness program.

I called again and they assured me the charges would be removed.

I went ahead and contacted Fraud Alert at Chase, cancelled the card and am working on disputing the charges. I don't feel safe with these people having my info.

Illegal Billing
Like several complaints listed here, I also ordered a free trial of the Acai berry last Spring 2009, found a charge on my credit card for 29.99 for another order. I called and canceled this and have the documentation of the call. Since I get paperless billing and do not use this card, I just discovered that the "Fit Factory" or "Hub Healthy" charge was continued to be charged against my card after I clearly discontinued it quite a while ago. When I received my year-end statement, I discovered that the Charge continued for another 6 months without my knowledge or approval. Just called today to stop the service and also contacted Capitol One to dispute all of the charges.

Turns out that this company also deals with tattoo parlors, piercings, massage and other "services" that aren't listed on their website. Beware.

I've submitted a complaint to the BBB.

Unauthorized credit card charge
I found an unauthorized charge on my credit card for $29.95 to MYTRAINER8004855175. Calling the number led to a company who called themselves Fit Factory, and who explained that I had signed up for a trial period of some service. Now that the trial period was over I was getting charged.

I don't believe I have ever purchased products from these people ... I don't usually buy health supplements or fitness things ... but other online reports have claimed that when purchasing something, there is a hidden checkbox, checked by default, that signs you up for this trial period.

Customer service at the number explained why I was being charged, and easily started processing a refund when I said I was going to dispute the credit card charge.

Unauthorized charges
This is really sad! My husband has been paying the Visa bill. I just happened to open this month's bill and saw an unauthorized charge of $29.95 with no details. I called the 800 number on the statement. They told me I had "enrolled" in a fitness program back in Oct. 2008 after I ordered a free sample of Acai berry for shipping fee of $3.95! We have paid a total of $299.50 over the past 10 months to this scam company! They said they would credit my acct for the last 6 months. I would still like to write to the Attorney General's office about this. They have received $120+ from me for nothing! Has anyone ever gotten any feedback from exposing this scam to the authorities?927

Terrible company
Took my online order and claimed that I agreed to two other add-ons (which I did not) of Fit Factory @ $29.95/mo, and Cost Smashers @$2.95/mo. LOOK CAREFULLY at your CC bills! I had called to cancel my Acai which was my original order. Of course nobody alerted me that there were other charges on the way. I was charged twice before I even caught these.

Unauthorized charges
I stupidly signed up for Bromalite, got this $29.95 unauthorized charge from Fit Factory, too. Had to get nasty on phone to have it removed.
