Impossible to cancel contract
I faxed a letter to flexicell to cancel my contract on the 26 September 2005. I did not have any confirmation from them. I refaxed the letter with an additional letter exactly a year later, 20 September 2006 and still no correspondence from them. Today is the 13th November 2007 and still they debit my account and still do not receive any airtime. Is it then impossible to cancel a contract???

Money debited from account but no airtime received!
Two years back flexicell contacted me with a deal on an airtime package i agreed but only received the deal after 4 deductions, then when i called them they send me an urgent sim. I then after two months canceled but then recently found out that they have been deducting from my account for four months now which the took a registration fee as well. I have tried contacting them several times even send them emails but no one is professional enough to contact me back but i thought that if i can pay for a service that i am not receiving i might as well pay a lawyer and get my hard earned money back! Maybe that will wake them up...

Terrible service
I've been dealing with Flexicell for about just over a year and all I've had is problems. Firstly I change the debit order date, then they suspend my account because the payment is going off on the wrong date. Up to now it is still going off on the wrong date. Then because of non payment they do a sim swap without notifying and my line gets cut. I'm a single mother who needs a phone at all times. I'm a woman who drives and if anything happens, I DON"T HAVE A CELL because of them. I then cancel the service and get billed R126.50 not once but twice by them. Lets see if I get this money back.

money being deducted from my account.
I have a flexicell, which i took account back in july of 2006. I then left to work abroad and currently i am still abroad. My complaint is that i have put stop payments on my bank account for deductions made by flexicell.I have looked at my account and have noticed that flexicell has made a deduction not once but twice in october and then again 26th october. My problem could be bank related or flexicell are so astute that that when i intially agreed to the contract the date of deduction was for the last day of each month. Now the most recent deduction has occured on the 26th October.I am just wondering whether theys people have inside info or whether they have the right to move the dates of one's debit order. The stop payments were made on the 22 oct and 23 october respectively. There are several concerns but most importantly how do we get hold of this company, are there contact details such as email addressess and phone numbers. I come to SA once a year and will be going directly to the police to lay a charge of fraud.

Poor service & hidden contract details
I took a controlchat subscription from Flexicell in Feb/March 2007. In May 2007, I had trouble with my salary (I work for the council), so I didn't pay the monthly amount of R69. In July I phoned Flexicell's customer service & they told me I had to pay an amount of R202 to activate my service as it had been suspended. I took their bank details & I deposited R205. I was told by a consultant that Flexicell would pick up my payment on their bank statement & they would activate my line. 3 weeks later I phoned customer services as my line had not been activated. I was then told by another consultant that my sim had been swopped & a new sim was on its way to me. The current sim I had was a Cell C number & the new sim was a Vodacom number. I told the consultant I was not made aware of any sim swop when I took out the contract & I didn't want another number. She said there was nothing they could do as this was their policy but they had not made me aware of this when I took out the contract. They then told me the new sim card on its way to me would be R135 a month. I cancelled immediately. The consultant told me a rep from their cancellation department would call me to confirm my cancellation of the contract. To date nobody has phoned me. Flexicell is a company out there to make money for themselves & they are genuinely not interested in their consumers.

Hi I said yes to the airtime package february already they have been deducting money since then, because of me not checking my bank accounts I did not know money was deducted from my account I only received my simcard after almost six months, that is when i found out that they were deducting money.
This is fraud how can they do this. I have cancelled my account for 16 times already for the past two months, every time they promise me that they will refund me within 3 to 5 working days. They owe me almost 500 rand.
I phone now almost everyday. And nothing. Can someone help me.
