MARIA LOPES RIPP OFF DON'T BOOK THROUGH THEM! They will make false promises and when you reach your destination, there is not much you can do because you have already paid for your trip in full

If you complain to the hotel, they will blame the travel agent, and when you complain to the travel agent, they blame the vacation company. The bottom line is that they lied and collected the commission from the customer, but refuse to take responsibility for their error. 

Flight Centre is a complete ripp off Marjorie Lopez booked our flight and She is a freaking liar. We booked our flights and hotel to mexico and were promised an oceanfront room. the bitch charged us full price for the hotel room, and when we arrived at the hotel we were told that she did not recommend or send any acknowledgement of the room. When we complained she blamed it on signature vacations. This is the worst company to book your flights so DO NOT BOOK at Flight Centre they are the biggest liars in the travel industry.

In brief, Craig was told over the phone that some flight tickets he was looking to purchase had an indefinite return date. He didn’t think that sounded right, so he double-checked and the staff at Flight Centre confirmed it to be true. So he bought the tickets only to find out (too late) that they expired after a year. Now Flight Centre are denying that they told him the tickets were indefinite and now also accusing him of lying!
Hopefully people will read Craig’s story and make sure they have written confirmation of the details before paying for tickets. And perhaps if you read the story you may also consider not dealing with Flight Centre in the first place, as their customer service (full details in the original blog post) have been appalling!
I booked my tickets for my recent trip to London with Zuji and have nothing but praise for them.

Flight centre best price guaranteed...what a load of bollocks best rip off more like, within the last week I book a surprise trip to Australia for my Husbands Birthday, did some research on line for prices but as I was booking international as well as Australian internals I decided to go to my local Flight Centre for peace of mind and as their advertising says UNBEATABLE, total price for two people, $1358.07 this is for flights only, Christchurch Brisbane, Maroochy- Melbourne, Melbourne- Christchurch, got home and double checked on the internet and reckon I should of got it for around $1160.00 give or take a few dollars for currency conversion, I also received on the same day a email for a internet quote from the flight centre for the same flight route for a cost of $1156.00 so duly sent off a "Feedback" email requesting a explanation, so far all I have recevied is a email back asking for the name and outlet were I purchased my tickets, given that they have my booking reference this shouldn’t of been so hard to figure out.
While I am waiting for Flight Centre Feedback team to get back to me, I go online to pre book my seats and while I am doing that I notice that the price paid is on the online conformation now this gets interesting, the prices shown as paid were cheaper than I had paid the Flight Centre,

CHCH-BRIS I paid $NZ481.08 Price on Booking Conformation $NZ446.10
MCHY-MELB $NZ263.90 $NZ219.20
MELB-CHCH $NZ615.09 $NZ537.60

So not only have the Flight Centre overcharged me by at least $175 there is a discrepancy in the amount the airlines were paid and what I was charged...of around $155 a little high to be explained away by commission or currency conversion charges tried phoning the Flight Centre Feedback line leave a message and they will get back to you ...will try and speak to a human at head office...may the force be with me, next time will book online myself.

Update, got a call from the consultant, pretty much the answer was...tough you agreed to the flights the price difference can all be explain by booking fee’s which I did agree to thinking they were for the airlines...duh silly me, there I was thinking the airlines paid travel agents commission, on the upside however a very nice lady the area team leader phoned me as well, and she did say that they do say unbeatable so fingers crossed and they had given us one quote and then charged a different price we will get the differece refunded but still won’t be using Flight Centre ever again

Update...have got a refund of $130.00 but it took some doing the area manager was lovely, and got it sorted, god knows what would of happened if I wasn’t able to deal with her, my only other concern ...and not to sound like a consperciary theorist but the consultant was able to quote verbatim not only the converstation I had with my husband but by husbands side of the converstation I was using the flight centre phone, ...so they must record all their phone calls bit scary really, but I still won’t be using flight centre again.

. We booked a vacation to mexico several months ago, and the travel agency charged us for an ocean front room.

We paid approximately $700 more than the normal price. As soon as we arrived we ended up getting some room that showed just the forest. This was the so called ocean front view.

They booked us on signature vacations, who said there was nothing they could do becuase the flight centre lied to us about the ocean front rooms

We have sent numerous letters, but they just ignored us.

DO NOT BOOK YOUR TRAVEL WITH FLIGHT CENTRE THEY ARE A BUNCH OF LIARS AND THIEVES AND ONCE YOU PAY THEY WILL NOT EVEN ADDRESS YOUR COMPLAINT
