I am discovering many odd things going on with this company gefflooring. First of all they are selling maple flooring and it's really a chinese birch flooring at costco.ca. I don't know why costco would lie to it's customers regarding the wood grade, I find it utterly disgusting. I wonder how many people have ordered this flooring thinking they were getting true maple flooring. I guess even the big stores like surprisingly lie to its customers. I think it is unethical to be telling people something when its not true. All maple flooring sold at costco.ca is really a chinese birch. A birch floor is less dense than a maple. I guess they got some kind of scam going there. Clearly costco is not serious about who they choose to sell good online...

As for floor target (ran by Ilia Orkin of gefflooring), costco and gefflooring claim to have exclusive rights on their online gefflooring flooring sales. This means that only costco can sell the gefflooring online... Why is the manufacturer(golden elite wood floors) selling their gefflooring online through floor target? I can see someone is pulling a fast one. It would seem to be a conflict of interest to go behind costco's back and try to make profit on the side. I am investigating furrther, will be back with more facts.
