Well it's Valentine's Day and the worst one of my 40 years due to Oasis Florist in Reading Ohio. My husband was having flowers delivered for me and my daughter. At the insistence of the florist, he was going to have them delivered to work. My city was under a Weather Emergency today and my daughter's school was canceled. It is for theses reasons I stayed home from work.

I received a call at approximately 10:30 from the florist delivery. She asked where I wanted the flowers delivered. I told her I was at home today and gave her the address. She said "no problem" and hung up. At 3:30 I called the delivery person back and asked about the status of mine and my daughters flowers. She said "Oh, yea, my boss said not to worry about it, I should deliver it tomorrow". When I reminded her that tomorrow is not Valentine's Day, she said that is what she was told to do.

My husband called the florist and they said "Too bad, no refund".

I tried to call the florist and was put on hold for such a long period of time that I hung up.

When my husband came home from work my 7 year old daughter presented her daddy with her homemade gift. Then she said "Daddy, where is my present". This sent me to tears.

I would recommend that everyone I know (those of you who are Blind Carboned Copied on this email) To deal with Adrian Durbin Florist. When I ordered a planter from them this year for a funeral and it didn't show up, they immediately made things right by sending a fruit basket to the mourners home the same day! They care about Customer Service.
