We ordered business cards from a local printer located in the same town in California as our business only to later be told that the printing would be done in Florida and take 5 business days instead of 1 day to ship to us. The cards would have been received too late for use to use them so we canceled the order which was never printed and never shipped. Despite repeated efforts by email and by phone with the president, Brooks Palmer, we still have not received a refund of the amounts charged to our credit card and Focus Printer is contesting our efforts to get a credit from our bank for the charges. Brooks Palmer has twice told me he would take care of the matter but has not done so.
This is my first experience with a printer that switches locations by 3000 miles, does not print a job or ship it but expects payment nonetheless. It has surprised me also to receive no support from Citi card where I have had an account since 1987. Needless to say I use the Citi card as little as possible in preference for American Express which does support its customers when merchants initiate charge transactions without delivering any products.
