I HAVE PROCURED A ' FORBES AQUASURE STORAGE WATER PURIFIER ', ON 11-12-2007. THE FILTER STOPPED FUNCTIONING WITHIN TWO MONTHS. THOUGH THERE IS 12 MONTHS WARRANTY, NO ONE CARED TO COME, IN SPITE OF REPEATED REQUESTS, FROM THE SUPPLIER, M/s AURA BUSINESS SYSTEMS, COIMBATORE.
INCIDENTALLY, WHEN THE COMPANY WHERE I WORK WANTED TO GO IN FOR ' R O ' FILTERS IN LARGE NOS, I CAUTIONED MY COMPANY ABOUT THE POOR AFTER SALE OF M/s EUREKA FORBES.
AT THIS STAGE, THE TERRIORY HEAD OF M/s EUREKA FORBES (CORPORATE CARE DIVISION ), BEING ANXIOUS, IN NOT TO LOOSE A HUGE BUSINESS DEAL, ARRANGED FOR REPLACING THE FILTERS AT A COST OF Rs. 500/-, ON 25/09/2009 !!
NOW, THE SERVICE REP., WHO BROUGHT THE FILTER, REFUSED GIVE ANY BILL, NOR HE IS ABLE TO SAY, WHY HE IS CHARGING Rs.500/-, WHEN THE PRICE ON THE FILTER IS WRTTEN AS MRP - Rs.399/-. WHY SHOULD SUCH AN ESTEEMED ORGANISATION, COME TO SO LOW LEVEL ? COULD ANYBODY DO SOME THING ABOUT IT ?
