Would not except payment over the phone
07-18-11 Called to make payments on both accounts that were past due. Account has never had returned checks and we have been repeat customers with Ford for 20 years. Customer service refused to take payments and would not allow me to speak with management. Futhermore the customer account manager James Miller was extremely rude. The next individual I spoke with hung the phone up on me. All I needed to do was make a payment. I have never had such difficulty with people at Ford (perhaps the hours 8:52 Florida time). These individuals do not earn the right to represent Ford, unless this is the new way Ford deals with its customers. Unfortunatly the table will turn and Ford will be begging customers to buy. Very dispointed and anger.

Harassment
Why am I getting harassed about an payment I sent in on the 21Jun, 2010, it was received on the 23 Jun, 2010 on 15 Jul, 2010 I received a call from ford credit stating I did not make the payment and when am i going to make the payment, I looked at my July bill and it showed that the payment was received on 23 Jun, 2010 on or about the 21 Jul 2010 they said they sent it back to the bank and has not showed up yet and they are calling me every day wanting to know when I will send the payment. My thing is I sent it and they received it and someone at ford credit messed up. I would like to know what happen to my payment I get a different story every time they call their don’t seem to know what they are doing, this is how they treat a customer that never missed or was late with a payment since 2006, I don’t think I will use them again.

buyer no credit many defaults
yes i am complainting on behalf of my deceasedfather who was a co-buyer to this vehicle. the buyeris mynephewwayne reyes who is now in jail once again. when thiscar was purchase . myfather had been terminally ill . Being a diabetic and amputee and he had been on some high dosage of morphine and methadone for the pain . from what iwas told my my parents that my nephew had ask my father to co-sign for him. my father said nopehe ws in no condition to co-sign for anyone. At that present time mynephew had gotten his first job at safeway . Well my nephew caught my fatherone daypretty doage up on his medication andhebroughthisbrother in-law here to their home when his brothr was working as a car dealer for ford motor company here in san jose at the capital auto . well suppioely myfather co-sign which he never receivedany copiesof any car loan from my nephew or this dealer from ford. 4 months later my nephew goe sto prison. his mother took over trying to up keep the car payments. then october 2009 my father passes away. that same month we get a call from ford impoundment that the car was impounded well my mother explain how my father was deceased . That is when we found out that my father was a co-buyer to this vehicle. my mother made me power of attorney. at that time my father had no will. i spoke to someone named Ruth from ford impoundedment. she advice me to send copy of my father death certifiate anda brief letter of our concern of how my mother wanted my fathers named off car loan contract. well this car was bought in july 2008 there has been many defaults of nonpayment, late payments and so what ford is doing is sending letter tio the credit bureaus. mymother s trying to build hercreditand with allthese default of non payments, late payments . she won't be able to use my fathers name as a reference.ford credit manager tells me to tell my mother not to use my father as reference.Hell they where married 50years with good credit. Ford crdit co. needs to pick this car upsince my nephew is once again injail or prison and isn't working. I have spoken to him and he won't turn in car

repossession
I stopped taking the calls from Ford Credit, because I was consistently forced to make agreements that where not possible. I made a payment on 02/02/2011 and another partial payment this past weekend. I am trying to get caught up. Life has been hard this year, but I was totally stunned to find my truck repo'ed tonight, right after I got home from emergent care dx'ed with pneumonia. Yes I can make the payments, work with me here. Now I am worried that I will not have the money to get my truck back. If times where hard before, how do they expect you to get back up. I am disappointed in FordCredit. I really am.

Bad Customer Service
Ford Credit' has very bad customer service. Majority of the operators who answers the phone has very negative attitudes. Yes, they do make very negative comments about you if your payment is late. I personally will not buy a Ford Car ever. And I will never get a loan through Ford Credit again.

Payoff document price gouging
I am a Navy veteran who just returned hom from a one year tour to Afghanistan along the Afghani-Pakistani border chasing taliban and Al Qadae insurgents.

Today I called Ford Credit to obtain a copy of the document showing I had paid off my loan in 2007 on a 35, 000 Ford Expedition. I have had 3 additional vehicles finance by Ford over the last 20 years.

Ford's representative stated that in order to fax me a copy of the payoff verification notice I would have to pay a fee of $17.00!!!

How much lower can a company go than to charge it's customers $17 for a fax???

It does give me some satisfaction knowing Ford, today just lost the sale on a 2010 F250 pick up to Chrysler / Dodge.

Nastyness/repo
My husband has been laid off work for the first time in 30 years. We had one and ahalf years to go to pay it off. we contacted for, we let them know what was going on.we even tried to refince to get our payments down to make it easier. but the said they said they couldnt do that because he wasnt working. IF HE WAS WORKING WE WOULDNT NEED TO REFINANCE. is what is sad is they have the Goverment to bail them out . We dont. All i have to say if they get in trouble and need another bail out I hope the goverment say SORRY THERES NOTHING WE CAN DO.

Nasty Representative
Threatening to reposses vehicle with less than 60 days past due. Service rep Renee ext. 33189 was extremely unprofessional, sarcastic, and deceptive. She would ask for my intentions then when I stated them, she said that they were not satisfactory. After going around and around for a few minutes, I finally was able to extract a payment schedule/ aggreement that was satisfactory to Ford Credit.

One would think that with the Government bailouts the banks and Auto companies are receiving in this terrible economy, that a little more reasoning and backing would trickle down to the consumer that has no help. What's even more frustrating, is that I do not even own a Ford vehicle!
