Transfer of equity
We were forced to close our business which prompted us to try to get the truck into our personal names. We have tried to do a transfere of equity twice now and everytime we get the paperwork into Ford we are current on our loan but by the time Ford processes our transfer of equity, sometimes a month to 2 months later we are behind in payments so there fore we were unable to do a transfere of equity. Spoke to Bob today and he informed me that the truck was now in repo. we needed to pay so much by tommorrow to stop the repo. I informed him that we have been trying to get the name changed, because we have a refinace already set up to pay Ford Credit off but we can't do this until it is in our name. He informed me that I just needed to keep calling Ford to get it processed faster.

Reposession
Let me start by saying that I am 68 days behind on my truck payment. Ford sends this to an attorney who sends me a nasty letter today... I call Ford, set it up to get caught up on the payment tonight in full. All is well, or so I thought. On my way home from work my wife calls me and tells me that they are there to take the truck (which is in the driveway). FORD CREDIT is by far the worst people I have ever dealt with in my life. They are rude, they lie and you can never trust a word they say. They even told me on the phone that someone showed up last Friday, talked to my wife face to face to make arrangements...funny thing is the truck was in the driveway the entire day with my wife at home and nobody ever came to the door...Merry Christmas to us!!! Dear Lord, please make it all stop!

repossession
ford repossessed my vehicle on dec 11.2009, i know i was behind 55.00 october, november payment and december payment totaling $1049.00. I own a business and it has been slow. I have been sending them money everyday to try to get this paid, $40., $20., $10. what ever i can. When they came to get the truck i could not understand why. The gentlemen called ford for me i spoke with lisa. I was told they sent a writ of possession in sept to my p.o. box. (p.o. box Closed) I told her i did not get it, her answer was well it was not returned. I asked her why she was taking the truck and was told by her the payments i made were not exceptable and i needed to hand over the truck. I asked her if there was something we could work out and was told to call redemption. She was very rude and unwilling to help me. i called redemption and was told that i needed to pay $2100.00 in 10 days or they would sell the truck. I only ower $1049.00, they want me to pay for january, late fees and repossesion charge. I was having a hard time coming up with what i owed now i need double the amount. Ford Credit is hard to deal with they do not listen when you speak to them. when you are having problems paying and you try to deal with them to let them know what is going on they make you feel like a low life and pretty much force you into committing an amount you can't pay at the time. Don't get me wrong we need to pay our debts, but sometimes a little understanding and help can get us through the hard times

Harassment
Why was I called and harassed about a payment that was 11 days late but would not acquire late charges until 15 days late?
Why was I told that the call was just a reminder but was ask personal questions about why, when and methods even after I told your representative I would make payment the next day?
When I made the payment on the following day and complained to your representative about the harassment, I was told that I was not harassed before I told her any details.
I was also told that my account was in collections.
Why was my account in collections for 11 days past the due date and would not acquire any late charges until received 15 days past the due date?
I would like an answer to these questions so I can file a formal complaint without being bias.
This is the letter I sent to Ford Credit. I had never been late with a payment to Ford Credit. If I missed understood my bill then I would like to apologize. My Bill has a Payment Due Date amount and also a Payment Received AFTER amount. This is a 15 day difference. I was simply thinking that I could buy this nice couch and still make my car payment before it acquired late charges without any problems. Not! lol

Unprofessional Treatment of Customers
I called Ford Credit regarding my account and was talked to in a hostile tone by several of their employees. When I asked to speak with a supervisor I was told " You dont need to speak with a supervisor" . Clearly Ford and Frod Credit are in big trouble, they won't admit to failing to give proper notice, disputes in their billing, and send out threats to repossess to any customer that disputes their account charges etc. In my view Ford will go the same way as GM with this approach to treating customers!!!

Loss Prevention Department
The past tuesday 01-06-09 I made a phone call to Ford Credit Customer Service from my work. I forgot my account number to made a payment, a customer representitive answer and then she askme about my name and social security number, after this, the representative was tranfer the call to other department. The loss prevention department answer the call. I spoke with Mr. Miller a Investigate associate for Ford Credit. I ask him for my account number, then when he was looking on the system, hi told me that I was late in my payments, I explained to him that I knew about it, and that was the reason why I was calling to made my payment (I was 49 days late), he was making very unprofessional comments about myself, he said: Mrs. Lorena Why you always late, I made my payments on my bills, why you don't do yours??" he was very nasty, I told him I had some problems but am calling today to made my payment, the he said ok give me your information I going to take your payment, I request to him that I decide to speak to someone else, because I did'nt appreciate the way he was talking to me and I don't want to give any info abuot my bank account to him. He denied to transfer the call, so I request to speak to his manager or supervisor but he denied as well, he told me that he was the only person that I have to talk with, then he threaten me, he said "I know were you work, and going to send some one to pick up my car", after this he hang up the phone. I went to a meeting at my work, after 30 minutes I came back to my office and I call again Ford Credit to try to talk to some one to made my payment, while I was talking with another Representative, that he was willing to take my payment, one of my co-workers noticed that my car was being town for an unkwon town truck. I run outside and my car was gone, I came back into the office and I speak with the representative, I asked him why they take my car?? He explained to me that it was weird because I was only 49 days, he told me that normaly takes 90 days before they repo any car. Mr. Miller was the person responsable for the incident taht I have last tuesday. I am very up-set to see how some people can abuse of the sistem and take advance of their positions. Now am trying to recover my car in is a nightmare, because I have to pay extra $360.00 to the repo company, because Mr. Miller want to be rude and he decide to not give customer service and transfer the phone to another representative or his supervisor. This is the worse experience I ever had in my life, this person was threat me like I was a criminal or a most wanted person in florida. I made the call to report a payment and because he didn't hear what he want from me he take the desicion to made the order to reposes my car?, this is unfear, the economic right now is in very bad shape for every single citizen in this country. I am a single mother a full time employed and a full time student, why this horroble think happend. I spoke with some many people in Ford Credit, some of them agree that it was a mistake another people for the investigation department, was acting like they don't care, becausethey told they got what they want the car, and after this they don't care any more. Finaly I spoke with Millie Canino she was wonderfull she help me on everything, and now am in the process to get my car back. This is the first complaint I want to do, and I will be doing as much I can to avoid for another person to get those horribles mistakes. This people should get better training on customer service.

About thier policy for repos
I Am writing in behalf of my son. His truck was repo on Monday 11/03/08 He didnt even know that was going to happen. Now they are telling him he has to pay all whats owed on the truck, instead of just the two payments he is behind. This make it very difficult when you our having a hard time thatsa why his behind. I dont understand why thias has to happen in the whole mess this country is in. He is at least tring to make he payment To come up with almost 10, 000 is alot to ask.

I moved from wisconsin to colorado and talked with ford credit about setting up my payments upon arrival..they gave me an address to send the payments too..then a few months later they started billing me late charges ..and calling my work threating me..that they were going to take the truck back..so i started mailing my payments a week befor they were due and they still said they were coming in late..and kept calling my work demanding to know where the truck was kept..so i told them again come and get it..come to find out they were holding my payments in colorado springs at the office they told me to make my payments too.then mailing it off to indiana where my original payment was to go..now i made all my payments on time..i dont have a truck ...lost my job..they auctioned the truck off..for half the book value..and took me to court for the remainder ..7500.00..and won..then garnished my wages forcing me to pay even more on a truck i dont have..they are the worst office i have ever dealt with..and total so far is over 200 thousand and counting...and the greedy bastards want more

Ford credit mistakes
Ford credit made a mistake and misapplied a payment and sent me a statement for $0.00 balance. The following month I received a bill for twice the normal payment with a late fee. They acknowledged that it was their mistake, that they discovered the error of the double payment weeks before notifying me and told me I had less than two weeks to make the payment or they were reporting it on my credit report and that there was nothing they could do. It was a frustrating and insulting experience. Finally, my husband got someone on the phone who moved the payment and waived the fee. Why couldn't the first two Ford Credit employees in "customer service" offered this instead of telling me about the multiple ways I could pay the bill. Is this what I am paying for? Is this what customer service means these days - attitude and come-backs? Work on training your employees in customer service if you expect me to continue paying their salary. I am still looking into what I will do with my 2007 Ford. I do not need Ford credit - I do not need a Ford!!!
