Ford has tried to wiggle their way out of responsibility by not returning calls or emails
I have a 2008 Ford Fiesta 1.6 TDCi, great little car EXCEPT for the after sales service and a few issues.
The car's FACTORY FITTED bluetooth stopped working when it was returned from its first service. Everytime the car has been back to Ford, it came back as is...BROKEN. The radio was sent to JHB for a month, only for the mac to tell me it was not faulty - obviously took what he thought to be the easy way out. Now, its a year later, I still have no bluetooth and best of all, the car has an extended warranty and a 5yr100000KM motorplan (bumper to bumper cover apparently).
Ford has tried to wiggle their way out of responsibility by not returning calls or emails. I am disgusted to say the least. I had to fork out R17'000 extra on the car for bluetooth and a motorplan and both provide BUGGERAL extra value.

I don't feel safe in this car anymore because i do not know when and where is it gonna stop
I loved Ford cars with all of my heart and bought Ford fiesta 1998 model as my first can in year 2000 ever since the love of Ford cars grew, in 2004 i bought the new ford Fiesta which also treated me good like the first one.
In 2006 i then bought new Ford Focus in Gezina PTA which had problems from the start and Ford Maintanace could not even resolve those problems.
at first the Battery would just not start the vehicle, i took it back to Ford in Gezina more than 3 times until we changed the battery and cut the cabin light to save it, mind you the car is brand new and i drove for 18000 km by that time.
Again the Engen light came onn!! i took the car to Ford Aurinia PTA City but they could not resolve the problem, everytime when i take the car for service i tell them to please fix the Engen light as is not safe and they just can't fix the thing.
i don't feel safe in this car anymore because i dont know when and where is it gonna stop as the Engin ligt is always onn, and that dicourage me to continue buying ford cars even though we love them, i was planning to buy new Ford Ranger but now i feel so discouraged that if people who make these cars can't fix them what.

Dishonest Service
THIS DEALERSHIP CANNOT BE TRUSTED AT ALL TIMES. THEY WILL LURE YOU AND SCREW YOU!!!My 2005 Expedition Engine blew up with 62, 000 miles on it. I took it to Ford of Upland for repair. After paying almost $6, 000 for replacing the Engine, 10 miles driving off the service lot, my engine had a leak, something was was not installed correctly. After a month, I took the Expedition back for a smoke coming out of my vents, the service manager Jason Forsythe informed me that they refused to work on my car. What a RIP-OFF!!!

1999 expedition
I have a 1999 Ford Exedition and it seems that every time we have a good hard rain it it messes up, the lights will come on by themselves, it tries to start on its own, no key, 4x4 light and rear wiper light flashes on and off, i have searched online and found several other complaints similar to this, so it would seem that there is a factory default, some complaints stated that there is actually a leak in the windhield that causes the computer to get wet and malfuntion, whatever the case this is not normal and ford needs to investigate and do something before someones vehichle shorts out and starts a fire. i as i am sure many others have small children who ride in these cars and am concerned about the safety, but as many other owners most likely I can not afford another vehichle, but if I did it would not be a ford,
I would like to know how ford plans to handle this matter, or maybe the media and some attorney, s could handle it better.

coastly break downs
My ford 2004 f250 6.0 dieasl has had on going problems with the turbo egr systems for a long time I was lucky that most of it was under warrenty but the truck only has 84000 miles and no warrenty. just payed for and still having the same problems and they want thousands of dollars for each repair. don't have it.

Defective Harmonic Balancer Pulley
I owe two ford explorer's one is a 01' model and the other is a 05' model, both have the 4.0 motors. Not two long ago the belt on the 05' started to make some squalling noise. So being a little knowledgeable about car's. I bought a new serpentine belt & replaced it.The new bet did quiet it own some but did not get rid of the noise.So the next step was to call a friend of mine that works for ford (In the service dept.)and ask him what he thought.He told me that the Harmonic Balancer pulley was defective.He began to explain that the center of the pulley is made of plastic and the outer ring is metal. Over time the metal separates from the plastic and the serpentine belt would slip down on to the plastic part of the pulley and the metal ring slides back closer to the motor. So I asked sense this is a defective product ford would fix it at no cost to me.NO was the response. So my next question was how much is it going to cost. 550.00 dollars.So then I told him I would have to wait to get it fixed b/c I do not have that kind of money. He then told me not to drive it until it was fixed b/c they had a ford ranger with the same type of motor and that the pulley came off and went threw the radiator, & it cost him over 1300.00 dollars to fix it. So I paid, but not before I called ford to ask them about the problem with all of the 4.0 motor's they said it was the first that they had heard about the problem, & they were not responsible. So then I called six different dealership in the area and asked them if they have been fixing any problems like mine. Every one of them said that they ware fixing at least two a week. That sound's like it should be a recall to me. What do you think. I hope this will help some people decide not to buy a FORD.

Coil springs
Anyone with a 2002 Ford Taurus with broken coil springs:
Though a recall has not been issued for the 2002, there is a recall for the 1999-2001, leaving all of us with the 2002 to pay for the repair ourselves when Ford should cover it! I have spoken to several Ford dealer mechanics who cannot believe the 2002 was never recalled, and I am asking that anyone with this issue follow up with Ford and the NHTSA so that we all get help with this! If you have already repaired this, you get reimbursed if there is a recall; they just need enough complaints to put it into motion! Call the Ford Customer Relations line at 800-392-3673 and the NHTSA Vehicle Safety Hotline at 1-888-327-4236. This is a safety and fairness issue that should not be ignored!!!

really it is good
i have this car ford fouces 2009 in 5-8-2009 after i think 3 monthe for which kind of car i must have i do test drive for the most of the car after i had tis car i hear more from my frined a bout ford this not good bad serivec..pla pla, , , , , , , i was afraid if i was lost my money 150 000 le for it ...but no i am happy now this good car good service every thing for the i can find by good price ...all staff in ford company is super and nice poopel ..i want say thanks for en mohamed nouer ther is good experince and polite every time i be ther he help me much, , , , , my name is ashraf hussein my mobeil 0110006366 ... really good car also this not frist car in my life this car no 7...

Hello,
I have sat and thought for a long time now if I should write this letter to Ford and not only is this a complaint, but it will now give you an idea on how some Fords are doing business.
I would like to inform you on what type of customer I have been for you. I have bought 3 cars from Ford a mustang, an escort and last an Explorer. All cars have been paid in full. I thought that the service I was given was excellent at the lime and I told my Aunt and Cousin, and they both purchased cars from Ford and have paid them off also. My wife and I have been shopping for the past couple of weeks for a new Ford but I’m not sure anymore, I have been treated very dishonestly and lied to and no one has been will to come up with a solution or even an apology.
This issue that I’m about to explain started back in July 26th, 2009. We put our Ford Explorer in the shop (JS Motors) because our clutch went out. They called Ford and Ford said it would take a few days is that ok and we didn’t mind. When the part got here it was the wrong part and we had to send it back and try again and that part they sent the second time was also wrong. Then were being told it was on order and it will take a couple of days to come in. A couple of days pass by and still no part. They said it was here and then they said it was still on order. Well that made me call customer service and see if they can help. I got a couple of phone calls back and they were rude and couldn’t do anything for us. I did get a call from Tammi and she didn’t really have a solution and she said she would call me back in 2 days and she called the wrong number but left a message saying need more time call you next week. Then my wife and I were on the phone at the same time talking to two different customer rep and those reps were getting told one thing that the part will be here in 2 days and the other rep they don’t have it. That part had been discontinued, yet the parts manager at Sunnyvale Ford had said on 8/27/09 that the part would be here in October 2009 and when I talked to him on 9/1/09 he said the part would be here in November 2009. What is Ford doing just prolonging the situation?
This has been over a month now and I have no answers that I can trust I’ve been lied to treated like crap, my wife has been treated like crap, I have had to have a rent a car and that’s costing me big money. I make $20.00 dollars an hour (full time) and my wife makes $23.00 an hour (part time). How do I pay for this? I buy an explorer and it’s not even 7 years old and it can’t be fixed? If you’re sitting there asking why don't I have another car, I do it is the Ford Escort, but it is still waiting for the correct part to be sent from Ford.
After reading this is there anyone in the Ford Company who has a solution. Can anyone help us?
