Dishonest Sales Techniques
This people have taken advantage of older and unemployed people who were honestly looking for a way to make some extra money. They kept insisting they wanted "success stories" but all they want was your money. They charge different people different prices based on your available credit. Beware all of you! they also go by the names of Ivy Capital, ICI Success, and now there is another name out ther which is Apply Knowledge Institute. They tell you how you have been chosen and what an honor it is to be chosen to give our success story - but it is very hard to make any money in this program, and all they want you to do is sell stuff on e-bay. Please take note of all the complaints posted on their various sites.

Internet Business / Work-at-Home
I am a 50 plus year old woman who was looking for a way to work from home on my computer. I replied to an advertisement for "at home" jobs entering data-based information. I was contacted by an individual from Fortune Learning Systems who stated he was a Senior Business Executive and I was totally swept away by their “limited offer” sales presentation. Follow-up phone calls with other representatives followed to determine if I met their criteria. They proceeded to introduce what they "MAY" be able to offer me "IF I QUALIFY." They started with the Questions type sales pitch. They where highly motivated and quick talking. He new exactly what to say using key words such as residual income, investing money to make money, using other people's money (credit card companies), one-time short term investment on a two (2) month payback and I fell for it totally. I invested $6, 620.00 and was at this point very motivated. For this fee they would set up the business for me, teach me to build multiple websites and provide the necessary training and coaching.

Then for my third coaching session the phone call was ‘missed’. I waited a couple of weeks worked on the assignments and then requested a rescheduled appointment. Over the following two months each reschedule failed. After working for companies that use email for all scheduled communications I became suspicious when it took three calls or emails to get an appointment.

During this time I was also contacted other ‘affiliates’. There was a fee to construct a website, also did I want additional credit, again with a fee. Then I was contacted by the Tax Club and was given another round of high pressure sales techniques. Unfortunately I subscribed to their service, and then was given a series of appointments which are additional sales pitches for services. I attempted to apply for a refund within the 15-day period that they say will be honored, but have yet to see any return. This company also has there own list of complaints on this site and other complaint boards.

Internet Rip Off
This company scam fast talks you into "investing" monies from your credit card promising a whole bunch of stuff. The terms state that you Can cancel the agreement in writing within 3 business days and get a total refund. I did the letter and got a delivery confirmation from USPS, but yet they keep calling me setting me up with different resolution people to get me to change my mind. Three times already! Then they said I didn't get the letter to them in time. I have proof! They have not begun any process to refund my $4060.00 They will not honor my cancellation, and it has been over a week ago since they received my letter

Beware!
We need help. We invested over $18, 000.00 for this and they stopped coaching us before the site was up and ranked. We have not made one cent on this and so far they have not answered our e-mails.

LLC investment, affiliate fees/hosting
I was contacted with a smooth, put pushy investment offer, stating the possibility of making large income in a short period of time. The investment was divided into threee amounts to be placed on a credit card. They too, asked how much credit was available, and how my credit was currently. The asked if I was aggressive, semi-aggressive or passive investor, and categorized my investment accordingly. I chose to invest $10, 000 on two credit cards to begin my business. Just shortly after investing in my new venture with the company, I injured my hip in an accident. I had a serious hip injury and could not work. I sent email to my coaching instructor but was still charged a web hosting fee of $39.00 for each month since Dec 09 until current June 2010. I inquired about stopping the charge but no action was taking to suspend the charges to date. I have asked for a refund due to the pricing of an LLC of $1800. and an additional charge of $400.00 to WholesaleMatch, all of which I was unaware of. Now the interest is accumulating, and still no word from the company. I was told by Kevin Brown the senior consultant businss agent to contact him anytime with questions, as well as, his "secretary" Navita, in Customer Service, and still no response. I too feel I was misled with other fees, and haven't been able to only have one coaching session since Jan 2010. I too, investigated this company on the Better Businss Bureau and found several problems. Total amount invested with this company is $11, 430... I feel that I have been "scamed"! I am disabled and I cannot even get a response from the Senior Business Consultant or Customer Service...Please respond. Help!!

On the surface this looks like a great way to build a website, and a home based business.
It is a very expensive collection of services.
Do not waste your money and more importantly your time and energy on this!
They use all of the cliches that are used by successful people . They do not know Tony Robbins!
It will cost all of your available credit and then some.
If you fall for the Jeniffer Johnson / Doba thing, please, please do not sign up for this scam!

Fraud
I got a call from a guy fromMY STORY: “Un- fortunate Learning systems” AKA -Ivy Capital

I got a call from somebody saying they knew I had signed up for the Jennifer Johnson work at home study course. He said he could get me into an online marketing business making as much money as I wanted to. He asked me to list my goals, how much money I wanted to make in the 1st, 3rd and 6th month and credit card available credit balances. He would call me back in 15 minutes. When he called me back found out I had a $10, 000 available he told me he would get his manager on the line to talk to me. The salesman Jordyn Naona was very aggressive and told me if I did not want to make at least $8, 000/ mo I would be waiting his time because he was egger for my great testimonial. So I said ok earning 8K/mo would be fantastic. He gave me 3 prices, the highest being almost $10, 000(?). He said the highest price was for the most aggressive web development and marketing campaign. He said all programs will work but the most expensive one will bring results quicker. I choose the middle, $8, 600. He seemed almost insulted I didn’t select the most expensive. I asked him if I would have to spend anymore than this to make the money you’re talking about. He said I would have to spend $100 on a license, no more. He demanded for my credit card number and like a dope I gave it to him. I was directed to someone else who made sure I signed the contract. At that point I thought I was on the “fast track” to my own online business and had no idea I had been totally manipulated and lied to. Two days later I had my first coaching over the phone and was not impressed with his lack of interest in me. That I had only begun studying the web lessons the day before was of no concern to him he expected me to know everything already. I called their office to ask for a refund but was unable to get a hold of anybody. I got a call from a “resolution” expert Kenyon Slake the next day and I told him I wanted a refund. He said he would get me a new coach and showed me a website supposedly developed by one of their students. He did everything to pressure me not to quit. Had I known I had been lied to about the web and marketing development they were supposedly doing for me and the additional legal costs, I would have stood my ground and demanded a refund. But he wore down and I said I would keep trying. BIG mistake!! I got a call from my business development adviser a week later. He informed me I would have to spend $5, 900 for all the legal and business development to be successful. He pressured me for 10 minutes trying to get me to give a credit card for this. I had to practically hang up the phone to get him away from me. He E-Mailed and lowered the price to $2, 500 for the same service. At that point I knew I was dealing with conmen. I immediately called Kenyon Slake and asked for a refund. He said he couldn’t do anything for me. On my next coaching phone I asked my adviser when the web development and marketing campaign would begin. He said when I was ready to do it. He said I had to do everything myself. At that point my heart sank into total depression!! It was obvious there wasn’t 3 marketing plans only one that I could buy for 3 different prices, where I do all the work. For the next 2 weeks I muddled along trying to make sense of it all. I cannot see how this program would actually work for a beginner. The coach gave me suggestions but nothing that made sense of HOW TO GET IT DONE!! It was completely up to me to become skilled enough to do professional marketing research and LUCKY enough to find a quantity/source of products in demand to resell for a good profit. If I could do all that, I would have no need for this frick’n course. I realize after hearing other people’s experiences with this program, the price of the business package is completely dependent on the available balance on your credit cards. One person paid $11, 000 another paid $2, 900 all for the same program. I sent a formal complaint and request for refund by E-Mail to Kenyon Slake. To date I have had no response. I contacted my credit card to pursue a chargeback to Ivy Capital.

Not what was promised
When I signed up for Jennifer Johnson, I was contacted within a day. Two men gave me the sales pitch of my life. It wasn't long before I realized there was no way I could make the money they had promised me. They told me more than once, that my $9, 950 investment was a One-Time Short-Term investment. I am not computer savvy, but they asssured me that didn't matter. Within a couple of weeks, I tried to get money back, but no way. Now, every time I turn around, they want more money, in the thousands. I wish I would have checked out their site before paying them all this money. Now, I am much poorer and feel very used, losing sleep, and anxious. Has anyone gotten a refund back, and if so, HOW.

Failure to refund money
Desperete to have my own business and income, to be my own boss, because the economy is so bad. I invested $201.00 into the career builder Jennifer Johnson to be a on- line listing agent. Before I completed the program, I received a call from Fortune Learing Systems, they said that they would make me a success story, for me to dream big..If I quailify to be a good success story, they would take me in to their program.. Then they started with Questions type sales pitch. They where highly motivated and quick talking.

They talked about guidelines and principal for starting a successful internet business, which would take less time than the average work week. They stressed the importance of leverage capital and how they would teach me to use other peoples money with "no out of pocket expense."

At this point they asked me about my current debit and how I filt about being able to pay it all OFF in a reasonably Short lenght of time. Of course, any normal, hard working person would answer Yes. At the time I had very little credit card debit, so they asked about car payment, ect. ect. At this point I made it clear that I didn't want to over extend my credit.. Then they told me that this was the right program for me...and that this is what I'm looking for..Next they asked may questions about me, and if I'm a motivated and an action taker. They continued to ask me about myself to see if I qualified for the program, tools and the guidance they would offer to me...After an hour of motivational speaking and questioning, I was told tat I was a prime candidate for this success story program. I was than ask to hold while he consulted with the Senior consultant. They would be with me shortly. Very Shortly they told me that I was the type of person they were looking for and I had what it took to make it. They believed that I was very teachable and that I would be worth their investment...

At this point they had me very motivated. I was then told that there would be a ONE TIME investment. But for this consertive investment they would SET UP THE BUSINESS FOR ME, HELP ME BUILD MULTIPLE WEBSITES AND PROVIDE THE NECESSARY TRAINING AND COACHING. I would need to make it work in a short time. The investment I would have to make was $5015.00 (the smallest one they offered) about the only amount left to charge on my credit card. They stressed that I would not need anymore money after this. This was all it took to get many businesses started for me to be very successful. Well 3 days into this agreement, they wanted more money for Limited Liability company $5900.00 to be exact. At that moment I knew I was done, Fortune Learning Systems was not honest with me, and I wanted to cancel at this time. I requested a cancellation, and received one, so I thought. The amount on my charge card of $5015.00 is still on there, and I don't think they have any intention to refund my money. My goal is to make sure that another honest hard working person doesn't fall into this trap.

Don't hesitate to contact me if you have been mislead or scammed by Fortune Learing Systems and are looking for Justice. There is power in Numbers.

Failure to follow through on agreement
I was contacted by Fortune Learning Systems and they told me they would help me set up multiple websites and I would be able to recoup my investment of 6, 000.00 in six months or they would continue working with me until I did. I had seven coaching sessions of 45 minutes and I had one more but the coach never called me. He would not answer my e-mails or my phone calls. I was told he had marked my case completed, although I had not made any money.
I have contacted this company many times to request my coach call me and they say they will but when I call back they say that was not on his schedule.

My agreement says they will continue to work with me through unlimited e-mail to get my money back and they are not doing it. To date I have not made one penny with this website. I did everything they told me to do, but they only want you to set up the website that they want and not what you want.

Don't listen to all the hype they give you about you can pay off your credit cards and be financially independent. You can't voice your opinion to them about things they have said because they get mad and won't help you as per the agreement.
