Poor customer service
Ordered a LCD TV from this company and they have been telling me for 10 days that it has shipped. The provide a tracking number but it has never been picked up from the company for delivery. Everytime I call back to inquire or send an email I get excuses. I have asked to cancel the order and for a refund but they will not honor my request.

Don't deal with them
I wanted to buy a Canon EOS Rebel Xti camera at fotoconnection.com as they had the best deal (499$) with free shipping. I ordered it and they called me and confirmed my order after 1 hr saying that the shipment would happen in 24-48 hrs. After 2 days when I called them to find out about the status of my order, they said that the item was not available and they would be able to send the camera immediately only if we could 'upgrade to the level of camera' for an additional cost. The website says that it is still available. They were forcing me to upgrade the camera for an additional 99$, also they were trying to convince me by comparing the total price with the current market price. They don't seem to be reliable. I cancelled my order and NEVER deal with fotoconnection.com again. This is the WORST business practice I have ever experienced before.

Theft
Fotoconnection.com stole my money, never delivered the product I ordered, I called I either got cursed out, hung up on or simply placed on hold. I paid 50.00 overnight shipping and was told it was scheduled to be delivered on 05-02-08 order was placed on 04-29-08. I asked for a tracking number, they refused, I called and cancelled, they said I never placed an order, even though their website is on my bank statement for charges, crooked company...BE SCARED...BE AFRAID...VERY ARAID . Me and my husband can’t seem to find any help, I am wondering if the government is involved. I cannot believe that is has become legal to steal!!!

Suspicious changes on my order!
I ordered two cameras online, but received and email that I had to call Victor in order for this order to be processed.
Instead he called me and tried to push additional items that were on special and that the camera did not have memory. I already knew that, but he insisted. I told him that all I wanted was the two retail cameras that I placed the order for and his response was that these camera were Japanese and not retail. At this point I didn't want the cameras and wanted him to cancel my order. He then recommended that he could provide me with the retail cameras for more money at a discount. I refused and he hung up the phone on me. I later responded to their email to make sure they have canceled my order as requested on the phone and received a reply that they would not cancel by email and that I must call a different number + extension. I tried that number and no answer. Something is very wrong with this company and people should stay away.

To prevent possible fraud and the fact they have my credit card information, I have canceled my card so no unauthorized charges are to be processed.

Ordered new tv aqous 46inch d62u turned out it was refurbished+ charged to much for shipping. They suck!

Beware of FotoConnection.com!
I've had an ongoing negative experience with fotoconnection. I placed an order, a fellow called trying to upsell me (he had left a message on my voicemail stating we should call him so he can tell us a tracking number and make sure we will be home to sign for the package). He stated the camera comes with double AA batteries and I need to for 239.00 buy other batteries and a recharger. I stated in the package I bought there is a recharger and rechargeable batteries included. He told me these were promotional items and I had to buy his items as I could only use the Nikon items once. I refused so he told me he could cancel my order and charge me a 400.00 restock fee. I explained I was a teacher and I could not be hit with such a charge. He was belligerent and abusive. He then told me he would send me my camera kit and to be home the next day. We waited for tow days and then school started again. The package arrived a week later after I was told in an email I would not be charged shipping and handling since my package was so late. I was charged. In the package, items were missing. I contacted fotoconnection about missing items. I had also asked the man I had talked to, about the lenses. He was pretty rude about this and told me "what do you think comes with a Nikon camera, Nikon lenses of course." Other less expensive lenses were sent that do not have the optical quality of Nikon lenses. Also, a memory disk was sent that is not compatible with a the Nikon camera I bought. The memory disk was included with the camera package on the internet, but one was compatible, not one that could not be used with this camera. I have called, sent emails and no one has responded with answers to my questions. Please stay away from this company. They advertise camera packages but do not deliver what they advertise. At this time, I cannot use the camera because of missing and incorrect items that are not compatible with this camera. Something is wrong here and it is not the customers.

These guys are definitely thieves and liars
This company already cheated us out of a battery on our original order. I kept on emailing them over and over until Joe Grant agreed to send me my battery. I had to pay the $14.95 shipping. When I got the battery, it was NOT the one we agreed on and it was a generic battery that required a cable be attached each time you use it. He kept telling me it was a better battery and asked that I try it. Probably so I would OPEN it and have to pay a restocking fee for that. He then said I could return it but since it was a "gift" I would receive no refund. Well, thank goodness for my credit card company! I was able to dispute it and get my account refunded and unless they give me a free way to send it back, I don't have to send battery back! These guys give new meaning to THIEVES!!!

Fraud & cheating!
I made the mistake to go online to buy a digital camera to replace a stolen one. What a world! I found on google search engine fotoconnection.com to have the camera that I was looking for at an attractive price. Once in fotoconnection.com I checked carefully the content of the purchase, so I decided to place my order.

The next day it was weird because they sent to me around a dozen of emails asking me to confirm my order, telling me that I had two choices and needed to call them as soon as possible, then another message saying again they were out of stock, and again more messages inviting me to confirm my oder again. I thought It was weird and crazy; however, good practice to ask clients to confirm orders by phone to make sure there is no crime involved in the purchase.

In fact this is one of the many emails as they sent it to me:

Continuing with my experience. I had decided to call them to find out was going on, and I had made my mind to cancel, or if the had the camera I would order it; so I called Jack. I confronted an uncomfortable and scary experience by phone. I asked him if they had the camera in stock and he said, 'yes we do' then he started to offer me more accessories as batteries and memory cards on sale for the camera.

As I had already checked them out on the website; but couldn't afford them. Therefore my answer was 'No thank you I want just the camera itself' He said well the camera doesn't have memory card. I said ' Yes as you advertised it, it has one with less memory' Then he replied 'No it doesn't have any'. Then he asked 'Do you speak Chinese' and I answered 'No, I speak Spanish' Then he continued 'the camera has instructions and functions in Chinese'. I got upset and responded to him ' I want you to cancel my order, please' He got mad and replied well I am going to take 20% of the price from your credit card because you are canceling an order'. I told him that is not fair because they had not packed yet anything for me. And he ended the phone conversation sarcastically saying 'Sure we will' and hanged up.

I got very worried about them having my credit card number, so I immediately called to report my credit card, and decided to cancel right away that credit card. It seems that I was faster then they were. I already review in this site other fraud reports against http://www.fotoconnection.com. I just want to report them, so somebody may help to prosecute them for being cheaters, liars, thieves, scammers and so on on the internet.

Don't use this liars
These guys are rip off artists; they advertise low prices, but don't deliver. Then they call you and try to sell you junk; I wanted 2 day shipping and not only did they not ship in 2 days; they didn't ship at all and then called and try to sell other stuff, and I doubt they had the camera anyway. I would never use them and hope no one else does either and hope they go out of business and to jail.
