This is with reference to my complaint dated 14.8.2008 at 1.15 p.m. at Frankfurt Airport. I have not heard from you till date. I was traveling from Stockholm to New Delhi via Frankfurt Airport. I purchased three body lotions/creams from the duty shop The Nuance Group at Arlanda Airport, Stockholm. While purchasing I enquired from the lady at the counter if I be would allowed to take these creams as I have a flight from Frankfurt airport. She confirmed that I will be allowed to take these creams in my hand baggage through the security check at the Frankfurt airport.
At Frankfurt Airport I was shocked that the lady at the security counter threw those packed three new creams in the dustbin. She did not had the courtesy to listen to me while I was requesting her. I had even shown the bill but to no avail. I was not allowed to put these creams neither in my checkin baggage nor in my handbag. I could put these lotions/creams in my luggage also. But she was so quick to throw them away. I am a poor lady and I spent so much money on these creams but I was not allowed to put these creams in my luggage. The staff on the counter should be courteous and helpful. I am really surprised that the lady at the counter had no courtesy and was heartless. It was very easy for her to throw them away. I purchased from my hard earned money. I was so anxious to use those creams. I am unable to understand that why I was treated so badly. It was not difficult to put them in my luggage – why I was not allowed to do so. Why the lady was so quick that I was pleading to her that I will put them in my luggage and she never wanted to hear me and at a blink of eye she throwed them away. I was very much shocked.
I request you to kindly compensate me for the loss of money and the mental torture I had to go through at the Frankfurt Airport which I could not imagine. Kindly reimburse my hard earned money, which I spent on these creams.
