To whom it may concern
I purchased a 2001 Ford Excursion on 12/28/07 from Frankie’s and at the time I complained of a problem with the way the front end sound. I was told by the service representative “that was the way a big truck sound”. December 08 after having new tires placed on the vehicle I found out that there was problems that I thought initially was apart of the certification process. I went to Frankie’s because I knew I would get a car that would be road ready but after the guy at sears, where I got the new tires, was afraid to let me drive it off the lot. I finally took it back to Frankie’s and to my amazement it was not covered under my contact. I don’t believe that is fair and it is a poor business practice as well as a dangerous to passengers and others. It may be an over site but it could have cost me and my family our lives. Don’t you think all front end work should be apart of the 100 point check before you sell a car? When I complained of the sounds back in 07 and took the vehicle back to the dealer shouldn’t they have checked and was that good business not too? I had an air filter put on the truck and I paid for that. I think it is a scam. They knew the problems were there and they decided not to fix it and I felt you should know because you did finance it.
sincerely
