I have never experience racism until I dealt with Fred Loya. I'm Caucasian and I was hit from behind by an illegal mexican with Fred Loya insurance. The accident was clearly his fault and there were no issue until Fred Loya could not locate their insured motorist after 30 days. During the fifth week I contacted Fred Loya and they stated they had located the driver and he said he was rear ended and pushed into my car and the claim was closed and refused to discuss the matter further and was very rude...leaving my with $1200 in damages.

settlement won't allow repair
My daughter was rear ended by a Fred Loya Insured while driving my car. It was 100% liability on the Fred Loya Insured Driver. The settlement they offered was for $338.06.
A full rear bumper replacement is necessary. A after market bumber is more than the settlement, and labor and paint would bring the total to well over $1000.
The accident will be noted on Carfax, diminishing the future trade value in excess of $2000. They are using a used bumper in their estimate. The used bumper will need repair work prior to painting, there is no restitution for this labor included in their estimate. The paint application on a vinyl bumper is in excess of the $128 dollars they have offered, if proper supplies and techniques are used. Body labor is in excess of $128.00 which they estimated. There is no restitution for car rental while repairs are facilitated. This offer is an isult to my intelligence, and they are shunning their responsibility to return my vehicle in its original condition prior to the incident. They have low balled us, and I can't accept this offer. I probably will have to go to courts to resolve this in my favor. They are surely untruthful in their damage estimates. Everyone be aware of their practices.

Horrible Management
I was involved in an accident in which one of Fred Loya's customer was at fault. I filed the claim with Fred Loya and the service i got from the people that worked there was just horrible, so unprofessional and disinterested. After filing my claim i called back to get an update and i was told that i was going to get a call as soon as they had any new developments on my claim. A few days passed by and i did not get any calls from them so i called back and the claim person Steven Bais told me that my claim had been denied a day after they had assured me that they would inform me of any developments if any. Not only my claim was denied but then claim representative did not bother to inform me. When i asked the guy why i wasn't informed he had said that a letter was sent out by mail. What kind of service is that? isn't a two minute call a better choice? He also did not give me a good explanation about why the claim was denied. This is horrible service when their customer even got a ticket from this incident. So here i am without a car to make it to work and waiting on the police report to demand payment. HORRIBLE SERVICE AND HORRIBLE HORRIBLE MANAGEMENT.

I called to cancel and they give you a hard time
I called on a Friday for cancellation, because they gave me one quote and then two weeks later decide to up the quote without even talking to me about it, I did tell them on Friday why I was cancelling and of course they could try to get me a better quote, never heard from them again so on Monday I called again, sent them the papers they needed to cancel policy. Yet they can not just yet refund me my money to my account because now they are asking for another piece of paper that I was not told about at the beginning of the conversation and on top of that they are going to deduct me the one day they are covering, which my policy covers from the 14th of one month to the other, so I should not be deducted since I am still covered from what I've paid on January. Its like pulling teeth from a cow, You give your customers a hard time for every little thing, of course except when your buy into your policies!!! I had heard a lot of people complain about your services but I thought I'd give you the benefit of the dought!! Now I'm sorry I didn't take other peoples advice!!! Now I'll be spreading the word too, to other customers!! Thank you for such a hard time Mr. Loya

unauthorized charges
Unauthorized charges. I canceled the insurance in December, and my account was drafted again on Dec. 30th, putting in overdraft status. These people have no idea what customer service is.

exclusions on file
I had car insurance w/Fred Loya for 2 yrs, I needed to add a new car and drop the old car. The agent was rude/arrogant, he stated that I needed to sign a exclusion form. The exclusion form would exclude my son and ex-husband from driving my car. I've been divorced for 11 yrs. why would I have to sign a exclusion form for him. My ex-husband and son doesn't live w/me. Their driver licenses shows their current addresses. The agent stated that my address is showing that they received mail at my address. I stated to him what does that have to do w/my insurance. He stated, if they're receiving mail at my address, they must live there. I told him to go on-line and check their addresses under heir names. He refused! What I'm MAD about is the fact that they offered me a higher rate, for being divorce and then they are trying to tell me who can drive my car. 12 names shown up on my address, but since my son and EX have the same last name they must live w/me. The nerve of this company! The agent stated that I must add them to my policy or sign a exclusion form.
I have outstanding credit and I have a great job history! I'm not going to allow this company to judge me or call me a liar! I will be writing the attorney general and BBB. I've have 3 latin friends who deal w/Loya insurance. I told me, they didn't have this problem! Because most Latin woman keep their owe last names, so they don't have this problem w/Loya insurance. I feel that this is a form of discrimination! Fred Loya need to treat all their customer w/RESPECT!

Unprofessional Wanna Be Customer SERVICE
My husband bought a new car and went to Fred Loya to be insured and these ass holes had his paperwork all messed up talking about he owes 115.00 a month, then when my husband get his first statement in the mail, it says he owes 125.90. How in the hell can this be, when they pulled a policy that says 115.00, for full coverage..Yes these people are a damn scam and you people should stay away from this insurance agency..

Liars
This company *** I do not understand why this company announce their services in a christian radio. Recently had an accident and this company lied to me, they are unethical and really hate companies that lie to you!
I am sick of these people! fred loya insurance ***! Living here in texas *** sometimes becuase then you have companies like these that lie to you or doctors at hospitals that don't know how to do their jobs! I have never had problems with other insurance companies but just this one! How can the world change if you have people that work in companies where they are unethical and all they care about is your dam money!

Lied to over and over again
I have had this insurance for only a little over 30 days and boy have i had major issues. My husband & i went down and got insurance through these idots and no one there speaks or understands good english. I have been drafted before my due date which has made me late with my rent and now i have a late fee for that. I then called the 800 number for the main office and all i heard was i do apologige but we signed for it to come out on that date. the papers that i have and from my knowledge state that the pmnt is to be drafted on the 11th of each month. Once i asked for a supervisor i was placed on hold for forever i assume " waiting for me to hang up". When the supervisor came on the line i explained the problem and was interrupted about 5 times before i could explain the entire situation. She then told me that they do it 5 days before to ensure that they get their money. BS lady, i have never known a company to do such underhanded business like this one. If u tell them the due date is 1 day then that is when you need to take it out. I have late fees for other things due to this issue and have been given the BS excuses too many times to keep calling. STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. This is not the end of the stories that i have to tell but i wont waste that much time talking about this peice of s*** for a company. They lie, canive, and are all for themselves.

Refuses to pay my truck was stolen
My 16 yr old took my truck with out permission and totalled it. My husband at the the time didn't file charges at the time. He is my son's stepfather I did press charges against my son and he was taken to jail. Now Fred Loya says because I made a delay in filling theft charges against my son, they are not going to pay!!!
I've been with this company for many years now! My son even addmitted it!!I intend to fight this injustice and will never recommend Fred Loya Insurance to anybody anymore. They should be ashamed of them selfs!
