My husband must of signed up for a free credit report, he did not keep track of his username and password. He gets charged every month for this and it comes directly out of his bank account. I have asked him to stop this service. He attempted to log on to the website and his information is not found when prompted questions are answered to retrieve the username and password. He also cannot cancel the service without having a 1-800 # on the bank draft like most places do.
I am asking that FreeCreditReport.com include their contact info on the bank draft.

I enrolled in the service for "free credit check" at free credit report.com, in order to find out my credit score and was in the process of trying to pay my balances off. I only needed it to find out my score and see how I was doing, so when I tried to cancel, it was nearly impossible. It took FOREVER! Every time I would call the customer service line, I would be told that the system wasn't working at the time and that I would have to call again at a later time. Meanwhile, they were pulling 14.95 out of my account every month. For a few months I was dangerously low on money in my account and I would forget that free credit report.com was going to debit my account and I would end up having to pay overdraft fees to my bank, all because I could never cancel my service. Finally, after eight months, I was able to get a hold of someone when their server wasn't down. I was even thinking of having to close my bank account due to fraudulent activity on my account and have to open another one. DO NOT USE THIS WEBSITE!!! YOU WILL REGRET IT!!! I sure did.

Today I opened by Bank statement on noticed a charge in the amount of $14.95 deducted from my checking account. I did not authorize this deduction and want this refunded and stopped.

it is suppose to be a free credit report they have been taking it out $14.95 of my accoutt i did let this happen for a couple of months and did not know how to get ahold of them so i changed my atm and some how they got of my new card. i want this to stop.

Free Credit Report.com is certainly a misnomer when it comes to this company. I got my free credit report during a re-fi and thought I was done with them. I declined their offer to continue my account, or at least I thought I did. Several months later I noticed that I was charged $14.95 by freecreditreport.com. I called to cancel and was denied cancellation because I would not give my full social security number over the phone. When I asked for a supervisor they hung up on me. I called again and was told that it would be cancelled but I did not trust that. I just got my credit card bill and there it is-$14.95 for freecreditreport.com. I called and the operator told me that the charge is for last month-April-this is May. Their billing cycle closes on the 9th (a Saturday) and since I didn't close my account until the 13th they charged me for another whole month. What a rip off this horrible company is! I asked the operator straight out if my account with them was closed and to tell me that I would not be charged next month and she hemmed and hawed and said "as far as she could see, the account was closed" I could never get her to just say YES. Well, I will be checking my bill next month, I'll bet they charge me again. It doesn't matter-I have the names of everyone I have spoken to and it doesn't do any good. BEWARE of anything that is "free"--it usually costs a lot. If you need a credit report go to Experian, don't mess with freecreditreport.com.
