refund
My credit card was automatically charged $14.95 on the date I joined
(10/13/09) I canceled within the 7 days trial membership trial period
(10/15/09).When I called to cancel I was gived a cancellation # and
promised a refund which never occurred. To add insult to injury I could
not get Master Card to reverse the charges. In my view this is false
advertising and fraud.Rather that beating myself up with it, I will not
fall for something like this again plus Master Card has lost a customer
over $14.95.I did, however, file a complaint with the BBB, FTC and
express my feelings here.Good Day !

Unauthorized Billing
So I went to put my paycheck in the bank today and found that my account was overdrafted by $60. I was shocked because I am very careful with my money. I looked at the transaction on my account and saw that Freecreditreport.com had taken $14.95 out of it. I went to the web site to cancel but there was no link to cancel, so I had to call them and cancel. They would not refund me the money

Fraud
1. I went on experian.com and from what I understood, purchased a copy of my credit report.
2. Therefore I was appalled to receive an email stating that I had apparently enrolled in something called "freecreditreport.com" since I had NEVER gone on that website. I went on Experian.com and purchased a copy of my credit report. Period.
3. Whatever freecreditreport.com did to fraudulently enroll me in their company's program is blatantly illegal and unethical. They should be ashamed of themselves for pulling this.
4. It is unacceptable to do this to consumers.

not free
Went through freecreditreport.com to get my free credit report, and was charged $14.95 Aug & Sept a total of $29.90 and only used the site once. Was told they e-mailed me about being a member, not so never received an e-mail and never gave concent to become a member. I was ripped off, they are returning just $14.95. This is a scam!

unauthorized transaction
My husband canceled his account twice with freecreditreport.com. The first cancellation did not go through which resulted in overdraft fees to our account. He cancelled a second time. The representative assured my husband the service has been canceled. He went on the website to make sure it had been canceled. Two days later, there was a charge on our account for $26.51. He called again and they stated when he went on he had ordered the 3 reports. There is no way he ordered that product. He spoke with Violet and when he told her that transaction wasn't authorized and therefore is fraudalent, she said "File a police report." Needless to say, we received no refund, were told to fax a letter, and to file a police report.

Unauthorized charges to my credit card
I signed up for an annual free credit report and they charged me $14.95 for two month for a subscription that I didn't even know that I had because I failed to cancel the service within 7 days. They only could credit my account for the last $14.95 charge.
It is ironic that this company is supposed to be helping people with their credit while they are stealing from them without their knowledge.

freecreditreport.com COMPLAINT

unwanted subscription service
I requested my free annual credit report from the web site freecreditreport.com. I had to enter a credit card number to receive my 'free' credit report. This month I noticed a charge of $14.95 on my credit card bill. I inquired and learned that I was automatically entered into a subscription service and that I had to take action myself to cancel the service and that I had to do it with 7 days. I did not request nor did I order this service. This is a SCAM and a FRUAD in taking advantage of the free credit report offere. I cannot believe freecreditreport.com is allowed to continue to take peoples monies. What is going on?????
I cannot get back my $14.95. What recourse do I have? Who are these people??

Monthy Charges
Why am I being charged $14.98 a month from FreeCreditReport.com? Where's the free part? I am outraged as I am disabled and can't afford this. I would not have agreed to this if I had known. I thought there was a one time charge to get it set up.
