Used freecreditreport.com for using credit services but they required a small fee. The problem is they used that fee and continued to debit out of the credit card for months even when asked to stop payment. Freecreditreport.com tells you that will not charge you and when you tell them about the debiting on your credit card, they do not reserve the fees. If you ask them about returning fees, they won't credit you back.

The only way to get your money back is contact the bank. I think freecreditreport.com is a ripoff as they debit money out of your account but also they do not like to refund your money back.

Experian and Free Credit Report dot com have conspired to trick people into a so called free credit report. They give you ONE and then you have 7 days to cancel or they start charging your credit card on a monthly basis.

Even though they tell you a number of times that you must cancel, it is very vague and deceptive. Most people forget to cancel within the 7 day trial period and they usually get hit 2 or 3 times before they know what happened.

There needs to be a notification rewired by this kind of trick marketing scheme that your trial period is now over and you are going to be charged if you don't cancel. This is a deceptive trade practice and it needs to stop.

On 10-29-08, I received a notice from my bank that freecredit report.com had my bank create an echeck for $6.98 implying that I signed up for their service. The bank paid this which put my acct in the hole $1.82 thus creating a fee to me for $32.00 for NSF. I NEVER signed up with freecreditreport .com. All I had done was apply for a pay day loan and had answered "NO" to ALL the deceptive, criminal spam pop ups. I have followed ALL their requirements for a refund (2 x's) and to date have not heard from them. I also DEMANDED they reimburse me for the $32.00 NSF fee because of their deception. I'm NOT holding my breath to receive ANY money baxk from them. Thanks, Cindy Nelson

Checked out free credit report online for $1.00 and learned too late it was junk. Couldn't cancel because of no where to go online or no one to talk with regarding cancellation. They charged my check card 2 times resulting in an overdraft on my account and costing me money I don't have. No wonder people have bad credit with companies like this! They Need To Pay!
