On Julu 16 at 1:09 AM as I was returning to my house I stopped to fill the gas to my car, and I used the pump #9 of the gas Station on 309 main Street in Norwalk CT 06851 and as usual I prepaid with my credit card and started to fill the tank specting the pump to stop once my tank was full, well it did not and the gas went all over the floor because obviously my car's tank was full, and even when I tried to stop it it wouldn't work, So I put the pump nozzle back and I could hear how the gas was still running at full speed into their gas pump.
eventually it stopped but it was 5 or 6 gallons of gas later and my credit card was charged for $89.46 I drive an A6 Audi Station, and its a medium size car but the tank is not over 15 gallons. I went inside to speak to the attendant and he told me I had to come back the next day to speak to the manager that he could not do anything. I went the next day and all I receive is an attitude from the manager telling me that is my responsibility. I do not understand how is my responsibility that their nozzles don't work properly and that I was charged over 5 gallons of gas that went to the floor and back to their own pump.
The manager even dare to tell me that 5 gallons is a lot and that she would beleive me it it was 1 gallon but 5 was just too much, I know it is a lot, a lot out of my pocket for their fault to keek their equipment working properly. To end they just ignored me. I am going to file a complaint to the police station and hopefully they can check their security cameras.
