False rebate claims

I bought a ESI wireless gear from Frys with a $15 rebate check promised in Nov 2009. After 8 months of following up with the ESI rebate center and writing several mails apart from inumerable calls there is no response. First they would keep telling me I would receive it in 3 weeks - later they said they have sent the check which I of course never received. Now, when I call the no. it just asks you to send them an email. It is very clear that the rebate processing company is cheating and Frys does not have an answer for that too. It is Fry's responsibility to check that they do not work with such operators. I have lost my faith in Frys because of such partners.

Would not allow unused software return

The software package was opened by a salesman from a locked, hard, plastic box. The software was in a plastic container that was opened by the salesman, who told me to go to check out. I did not open or do anything with the software package given to me by the salesman. When I tried to return, I was denied credit because the plastic cover, which was never on the software package given to me by the salesman was not present.
