I found out my son was sucked into accidentally signing up for one of those mobile phone download subscriptions, actually, 3 of them, in one night. The first one I contacted was Flycell. They were not very helpful, they refunded the most recent month but that left me holding the bag on the first month. The next company I contacted was Fun Mobile, it showed up as mobilefunsterinc on my AT&T bill. I talked to a customer service rep named Felix and was very happy that he understood my situation and gladly refunded the two months worth of charges we incurred. The third company was Celebrity Squares. Once I explained my situation, the customer service rep talked to her supervisor and they offered me a refund for the service.

In all three cases my 14 y/o signed up not realizing what he had done. It's unfortunate that AT&T does not allow (so these companies say) these companies to credit my account the same way I was charged.

I told the customer rep at Fun Mobile that I was very pleased with the integrity that he showed me when he offered to refund me the subscription costs without a fight. I would have to give this customer service rep an "A" rating. The customer service rep at Celebrity Squares was also very cordial and I was pleased. I was not happy with the customer service rep at Flycell who argued with me to the bitter end before only refunding one of the two months they charged me.

I know this web site is used for complaints, I've used it before. But if a company shows me some integrity, I think that they deserve some cudos as well.

my name is denise and i am terribly angry about this situation, i put R29.00 on my phone yesterday and this morning after i sent 2 messages which is R0.80c each i now have R6.00 left which is impossible and i was told that money was taken off for songs but i never asked for any of this so i want to be refunded IMMEDIATELY and if i dont then i am going straight to the newspapers and other sources about this and take it further. my cell number is 072 134 5874. i will be waiting for the airtime. this has hapened numerous times before.

When we purchased our phones were were getting charged a $9.95 fee, when we called our Carrier, Centennial Wirelss, they stated that there was nothing that they could do it was a 3rd party carrier. We have been calling and can never get anywhere! So $200.00 later, I finally get someone and they tell me to hold then hang up on me, then I call back and get someone who can barely speak English. They will not refund any of the money, and they are stating that YES, it was cancelled.
This company is shady and DO NOT give up, I am turing them into the BBB for adding charges onto our phone without our approval. This should be outlawed! It is ridiculous how these companies operate.

How to stop fun mobile from sending text messages that use up my minutes? I do not want to have any association with fun mobile.
