Horrible customer service
This business should be closed down. They have the worst customer service of any furniture store I've experienced. We ordered dining room furniture in June and it still hasn't arrived. The customer service (Cathy Grindstaff) called me 12 weeks after the order to tell me the fabric for the dining room chairs is no longer availabe...it took them 12 weeks to figure that out and I would have to re-select. Meanwhile, the table was delivered damaged and had to be returned. It's been 16 weeks, still no furniture and I have to wait another 16 weeks. They kept 1/3 of the deposit of over $5000 worth of furniture. The manager called and said he was getting upset that I was asking him to commit to a date when my furniture would be delivered. He said he can't tell me when I can get my furniture...all I know, it can be a year from now. I thought that is their job...to give an estimate of when a customer can expect items they purchased. He didn't know anything about the order and said I had to talk to the sales rep (someone he supervises) eventhough they told him to call me. There is no communication between the manager and his subordinates. It's the worst customer service I've ever experienced. I can't comment on the quality of the products because they still haven't been delivered. At this point, I'm out $1700 deposit, and still don't have my dinign room furniture. I cancelled Thanksgiving dinner because I have no furniture and have extremely rude customer service staff at furniture land. I'm frustrated that this company continues to get away with this, given the complaints I'm now reading on the internet. I wish I had checked on the company before I bought furniture from them.
