paddle mechanism is not commerical grade
I own a samll seasonal concession buisness in a state park that rents out boats hourly, daily. I purchased boats from a local buisness that found Future Beach commercial grade paddle boats. They promised to have these boats to him by Memorial Day weekend then they told him that they would not deliver unless he charged me a substantial amount of $$$- this is after he qwuoted me while on the phone with their company's reps and I prepaid... as per their quote and payment terms. I was told a week later about the delivery charges- When my rep. from the local buisness decided to drive to get the boats (closed his buis for the day to go get them for me opening weekend) he faceda 4.5 hr drive only to be told he could not pick them up b/c of the volume at the loading bay- he would need to come back- he refused, waited 5 hrs to be loaded then drove all night to deliver that Sat. morning. These boats had lots of compliments b/c they look so cool on the water BUT the peddal mechanism broke in one boat in the first month, then in another boat shortly thereafter- my rep. contactewd the company only to be given the run around... I had a warranty and rec' three parts for "free" two weeks before my season ended. This season a week in two boats down but b/c I was a week over the warranty I would have to pay for the parts- I would rec' a discount. After having boats down in the busiest part of my season I payed for the repair, by the time the parts cam all boats but one were down! I hired someone to fix the boats, they were all in for a week and one down again! No help from the company and my poor local guy has had it! It is diificult for anyone to get anywhere with this company and there rep's!
