Over the course of several months, this company and I have been involved in them refunding our deposit due to false advertising and business-scam practices.

Their salesman made us a 'fantastic' offer for a "ALREADY DESIGNED, ENGINEERED AND BUILT" steel building that had just been CANCELLED BY ONTARIO RAILROAD. They CANCELLED the last building on their custom ordered, "engineered & designed" steel building & PAID ALL CANCELLATION FEES INCLUDING A 20% RE-STOCK FEES.

This building was made to a specification that is quite common in either commercially or residentially.

We were just 'looking at buying' some land when we contacted FUTURESTEEL BUILDINGS from their Ad in Popular Mechanics. The salesman informed us this building had already been made-to-order but cancelled.

He said the building was just sitting up in their Canadian Main Manufacturing Plant & if we placed a 'deposit', he could get it shipped to the USA where the TAXES on STOCK ON HAND is a lot cheaper than in CANADA.

We said that we hadn't even decided to buy land and where we lived today was an impossible place to install the building. He said there wouldn't be a problem with a refund, he just wanted to get the building shipped to their Virginia, USA plant ASAP.

When we decided that we couldn't afford to move, due to a then-recent disability, the salesman was no where to be found! His manager, in Canada, Ms. Andrea Greene, has given us nothing but grief in saying they engineered and designed the building just for us not anyone else and we had to follow their contract regarding custom-built, designed & engineered steel buildings.

Even with the obvious: WE NEVER ORDERED, ENGINEERED OR HAD DESIGNED any building but we were HELPING their salesman get stock in TAX-HEAVY Canada shipped to TAX-EASY USA.

We even wrote to the President of the company who proceeded to put his attorney on attack mode to us. I've refused to consider this a closed case, as I'm sure they broken a few laws, but I don't know who to contact.

I HAVE EVERY EMAIL CORRESPONDENCE AND THE 'CONTRACT' STATING THIS WAS A NON-ENGINEERED & NON-DESIGNED BUILDING. WHERE DO I SEND IT? HOW WILL WE GET ALL OUR MONEY BACK FROM A FRAUDULENT SALES PRACTICE?
