I ordered from an online site a trial for AcaiBerry Detox in early December, approx. 12/5, which is the day I was charged by them for $3.95. When I received the product 2 weeks later, the information packed w/ this said I would be charged $87.13 monthly unless I cancelled. I cancelled immediately. I was given a confr. # and told would see my credit in 7-10 days. I was charged $87.13 on December 23, 2008. I called again, of course, irate I was, and was told I would be credited and my account was cancelled. And then again on January 6, 2009 they got me again for $87.13. Everytime I called I received the same runaround. By the time I got my next statement, they got me again for $40.00. I can't believe they f--------- me for $214.26, and I have no recourse. But the time I realized these charges were there, it was past the time my bank would/could do anything. Thank god my bank issued me a new debit card or they would have hurt me more. I have been charged $87.13 within the last fourteen days by this company. I did order a trail sample of their Acai berry product but have received, nor want to receive, anything since. I have tried to call the toll free number provided but have never been able to speak to anyone! I will also be taking this to the Better Business Bureau for fraudulent activity and credit card scam.
