I ordered a free sample on 1/29/2009. On 1/30/2009 I found out this was a scam operation and I called to cancel my order. On 2/2/2009, I called a second time to confirm the cancellation. Both times I was told that my order had been cancelled.
On 2/14/2009 a charge of $87.13 was made to my charge account, and on 3/1/2009 three charges totaling $87.13 ($83.18, 2.00, and 1.95) was again made to my charge account. I assume they separated the charges to get around the fraud detector on my charge account.
On 3/7/2009, I received a shipment from FWM Laboratories. When I called the number given (866-949-0138), I talked to Rose Mendoze who said that my account had not been cancelled. I told her that the phone calls supposedly had been monitored so they could listen to the tapes for the other two dates. When I asked for a refund, she said that only the refund department could do that, but she could not supply me with the number or a person's name.
I called again on 2/9/2009 and talked to the original company SFL Nutrition and they said they had cancelled the order and that they had not sent the shipment.
This is a scam operation. What do I need to do?
