I saw an ad on the internet that said I could lose weight with two products.
I clicked on it, and it said I could get a sample sent to me of the acai berry to try.
I looked over the site, and could not see anything that said they would continue to bill me or to bill me any more than the $3.95, so I entered my credit card info.
Now I have a charge of $87.13 on my card.
They say I did not cancel within 14 days.
I did not see anything about canceling with 14 days, or recurring charges.

I ordered a FREE trial sample of ACAI Berry Detox online on what seemed like a legitimate link on 1-14-09. I was charged the 3.95 shipping and handling fee and then ten days later I was charged the full price of $87.13 for the "FREE" Trial bottle. I never tried the product, because I was taking another medication that I felt might not be compatable with the Acai "supplement".

On 2-17-09, I was charged another$ 87.13 and again on 3-17-09 I was charged $87.13. I called the 866-949-0138 phone number that came with the first shipment and was told that because I had not cancelled in the product within the first 14 days, that they kept sending the product and charging my acct.

I cancelled the account on that day and I returned two unopened (completely sealed) bottles of this stuff and did receive one refund, but not the other and no refund for the supposed FREE bottle.
I have alerted my credit card company to these fraudulant practices, but I would like to see some action taked against these people and warn others not to fall into the same trap. What a Ripp-off scam this is. BEWARE!
