I received an automatic phone call reminding me about an extended automobile warranty. I never bought a warranty nor did I recently purchase a vehicle. I waited for the customer service representative and she new my name. She said she had all the information before her. I ask her what car they were calling about. She put me on hold for about half hour. I starting pressing numbers on the phone pad and began hearing about a dozen recorded messages. These were customers who left very personal information: names, telephone numbers, and even VINs from their vehicles. I still can't get anyone by phone. Would you know, this company belongs to a larger company that specializes in identity theft! I hope this company is held responsible.
