GameTag is the company specializing in the account services for various massive multi-player online games. They sell accounts and services such as power leveling and game currency. I've done business with them late last year when I decided to purchase an account for one of the games. Based on the FAQ and information posted on their website, I expected the whole process to take 24-48 hours, 72 hours at most IF there are any complications. Delivery times, however, were nowhere near what was advertised. Live Chat was and still is always down. It is absolutely impossible to get in touch with a person. The time it took between order and delivery was almost 5 weeks. Finally, once they delivered the account, they explained that they were going through upgrades and that was the reason for slow delivery.

Few months after that, taking their word for the complications with previous order, I placed an order for a friend of mine, ordering an account similar to mine and paying for it with my credit card. I expected the upgrades and complications were resolved, but this time around the delays were even bigger. It took whole 6 weeks and countless emails before I finally got a reply from a person and not their automated system. I assume the person wouldn't have contacted me if I didn't state that I am going to dispute the charges and report the company to IC3 for fraud. I was issued a coupon to use instead of refund because the account I purchased was mislabeled and that they don't have any accounts in the inventory that I was interested in. I was issued a coupon that expires a whole year after the initial issue date, so if I find the account that I like at any point, I could use coupon. I was also promised expedited process once I make the next order with coupon and that I won't have to deal with delays.

Just 2 months ago I tried to use the coupon, and as can already be guessed, it was invalid! They removed the coupon from their system robbing me of money. I quickly sent them an email and after a week of waiting they re-added the coupon code to the system. I made the purchase with the coupon and am waiting now for almost 2 months and can't get a hold of anybody.

I think this company should be avoided at all costs. If this was the one and the only company providing account services, you are better off making your own account, leveling, and doing whatever else you can. Stay away from gametag. They "appear" as if they have tons of employees (each email is from different person), but in reality this could just be 1 person scamming people out of hard earned money. If you need to purchase accounts or services, seek other companies. Spare yourself the headaches and nerve wrecking and stay away from gametag.

This website should be reported to IC3 as well and that is what I will do next because I know that if this happened to me, it happened to others as well who dealt with them.
