The unscrupulous packer business is thriving in India at the cost of economic boom and encashing common people. There are no regulatory reforms or standardisation yet dormant and thriving like any other business in India.

seems to have no impact on lawmakers and the common person left on the mercy of the unscrupulous people.
I had a similar experience when i booked my personal furniture from Mumbai to Kolkata through Ganapati International packers & movers vide c.note 748. I was promised a delivery time of 6-7 days on a daily connection network between Mumbai and Kolkata.
My goods picked on 3rd Jan 2010 was finally found to be lying at a warehouse in Bhivandi at Kasheli village after 10 days of pick up. Kasheli holds a spate of warehouse so called hubs of the packers to exploit consumers.
After experiencing 10 days of blatant lies from the packer(Subhash-9321916288) and his associate (Mishra-9321703305) I personally visited Kasheli village to check the goods status. It was deciphered that the reason for the goods to be lying is for a low cost of transportation bargaining perused between the packer and transporter for 10 days of pick up (which is the promised delivery time). The packer charge premium to customer but they negotiate a lowest cost with transporter to make the merry of the deal and make people like us suffer.
It is through these forum we like to bring up and help us to wake the legislative system of Mumbai who are so involved in everything other than real core / fundamental issues of the city.
