Had broken spring 3 yrs ago. Called Precision Door Service. Was quoted $225 for springs & labor. Guy came to house and charged $65 service fee, $5 lube fee, $10 shop supply fee in addition to the $225. Then said needed worn rollers replaced for $150 in order to have springs warranteed. Now we're in for $455. Done
Yesterday a spring broke. ok no problem. It's warranteed. Contract states labor and parts at no cost. Guess what? $65 service fee. That same hidden fee has popped up again. Screwed again! Talked to manager. He refused to waive the fee. Not my fault the spring broke. Why am I paying his employee to come and replace a bad part? It should be the company's loss. Not mine. Would never recommend this company to anyone. Very poor ethics. In the future I will go local. The initial cost of $225 would have been my actual total.
