NO show on day of work and got billed for the work
I had a scheduled appointment for these guys to come in and clean my gutters. I was told that they would call me and let me know when they are going to be at my house. No call was picked up by me, however I am told that they called... I have an inaudible voicemail from these guys thats all. No one came to my house. I was there all day. I cleaned my gutters the next day myself and on the next day called them up to cancel the appointment. They told me that the work was already done on my house and that I was lying. I was told that they would look into the matter and almost a month later I received an email and a postal invoice telling me that they came in and cleaned my gutters and have to pay the $80. Do not do business with these guys... a very unfriendly and dishonest company. I have complained to the BBB and my status with them is pending... I will also be complaining to the Star Ledger in the hopes of having an article printed so that all of New Jersey knows that these guys are nothing but rip offs!! P.S. waiting to hear from Help me Howard of the CW as well.

Terrible experince!
On 11-24-06 I had contracted with Garden State Gutter Cleaning to install gutters on my newly installed front porch. I gave a $100.00 deposit for a 459.30 job. I was told by the salesman, Rich, that my job would be completed before christmas, which is also stated on my contract. December came and went. January came and went. I called in February to ask when this job was to be completed. I was given a date immediately. That day came and went with no phone call to let me know why they hadn't come or to even re-schedule. So, I waited and called again about the beginning of March 2007. Again I was given a day that they would come and again another no show or courtesy phone call to re-schedule. I then again called a week later and the same exact thing happened. Because of no gutters on my house, all the rain and snow from the winter had poured next to my house foundation causing water in my basement. I then called and cancelled the work. I had another contractor come out and do the job, and thank god they did for that was the week of the storm floods on the east coast. When I called and asked for my deposit back, I was told by Mike, that I would not be receiving my deposit back because of the material he had already ordered for my job, which was only two leaders and 40' of gutter. This company hasn't heard the last of me yet.
