I had purchased a used car from a private owner on September 2nd of 2009 with an advice of the mechanic/owner (Roger R Kimmet) of Garland Auto in Spokane Washington. Before purchasing the vehicle, the mechanic stated that the only problem he saw that I would eventually need to replace the rear breaks in about 30, 000 to 40, 000 miles. He also stated the he did not like the color of the car. On November 11th, I took the car to the mechanic because I heard a rattle or a snap sound on the rear of my tire. When I took my car in, he stated I need to replace all four breaks and shocks, I need the engine mount replaces, and replace the clutch. It would cost me $2, 000 or more. He still has my car and now he said the car will not start at all and is not sure what the problem is. I strongly feel that the mechanic is taking me for all I am worth.
