June 15, Monday. I called 86th photo and video store to place an order for a garmin nuvi 780 gps. Great deal at $129.00 plus $9.95 to ship. I got a man who was very nice and said great now which charger do you want the regular is $80.00 and the rapid charger is $100.00. I told him no thanks. I just want the garmin 780. Well, this nice man was not nice anymore. He stated well it is on back order so call back in 3 weeks. He then hung up. So, I waited for a few minutes and called back. Yep, got the same person on the phone. He said what would you like and I told him and he said great. Then again stated about the chargers. So, I told him, I called earlier and you stated they were out of stock. Only when I just said I want the gps. Well, HE HUNG UP THE PHONE!!! Now the price is $199.99. TALK ABOUT RIP OFF ARTISTS. THIS IS HOW THEY DEAL WITH ALL THEIR PRODUCTS.

After doing quite a lot of research I decided to buy a Garmin Nuvi 780 from these bunch of liars!!

I submitted my order online on a Friday and then received an email the next day telling me to call to verify my details in order for them to proceed and process my order. After waiting on the phone for an hour I I eventually was connected to a rude, pussy salesman who tried to sell me everything uncluding the kitchen sink. I declined his offers, but then he tells me that the model I was ordering came with ASIAN maps and if I wanted to use the GPS in the USA that I would have to buy a USA map package!!! WTF!!!

The're web site lists this unit as coming with detailed NAVTEQ maps for the United States, Canada and Puerto Rico.

I told this rude salesman to get lost and cancel my order.

I bought a unit from a reputable supplier at amuch better price.

Run, dont walk away, from these liars.
