my name is samantha santana and the name on the account with center point is under my brother,
luis m santana. My service was temporarily disconnected for non-payment. My brother had surgery at M D Anderson for Liposarcoma and throughout the month of Dec I was with him. There was a prob that more serious problems might occur (to name a few; amputation of the leg, colostomy bag, stroke, etc) i did not come to the house until i brought him b ack . anyway, i was not able to pay my bill. This past Weds 1/28 i called centerpoint to ask them the balance. for a month, i was told i owed 90 deposit and the remaining of the 268.00 for service. i told them if i could please pay 120.00 that my son was recently out of service and the weather being so cold and the house as well, he needed the heater which is controlled by the furnace. just recovering from his surgery, which was still open on the bottom for hygene. they gave me the run-around for three days and was told to call two/three times a day, at first they denied to take my 120.00 then, i was told to fax some document that would verify he was being treated by M D, and i went online and downloaded his appointment schedule. my fax transmission confirmed it had gone thru, i called yest and today and they said they had not received anything. i pleaded with them to please accept my money and they even gave me til feb 9th to pay the remaining balance, but first it had to go thru somewhere to get approved (the request and the proof). it never did and still today they told me to keep calling to check on status. finally half an hour ago, i called again and was told NO!!! that if i wanted the service back on to pay the full amt. i explained to them, that last night my the house was so cold that my brother, who is very skinny, started shaking, feeling lightheaded and had blurry vision for a few seconds and went upstair to throw up. the house is really cold with this weather, its like being outside. i pleaded for them toi please take the 120.00 turn on my service and the arrangement would be kept this coming 9th. i get paid on the 5/6th, because we really need the service and there are also small children in the house. besides this controls the heater and stove as well. they flat down refused and we will be the whole weekend and until the 9th with out service just because they won't accept my partial payment. they do favors only to their "close friends " because i know. Please help me. i myself ended up with a cold and lost my voice. ( i am also a cancer pt) and the children have colds also. i'm not trying to abuse their service by refusing to pay or ignoring them. this is all the money i have and we need the service urgently. yesterday they sarcastically told me "if its not a life threatening emergency and we get a certified copy of the doctor verifying this is true we can't do anything".

Moved into a new home called washington gas for service, first appointment wasnt honored. Called and there was no record of appointment. Set a new one, appointment day passed still no service this is week two at the new location. I called to find out why no service, and the response was the technician couldnt find a place to park. I live in a single family home and the street is right infront of the house and a two car garage with drive way.

I stopped at that gas station advertising $4.09/gal.
I filled my tank to realize that the price was $4.29.99 . Upon inspection there was a little handwritten paper on the pump stating that $4.09 was the cash price only. I thought it was not permitted to have a different price for cash and credit.
