Paid the refundable registration fees of $9.95 and they promised to pay $25 gas rebate every month for 12 months for getting gas from a registered gas station. Have not recieved my refund of $9.95 neither I have recieved my novembers gas rebate. Now their website (www.gasrebate.net) says:

"Please be advised that My Free Travel will be unable to honor any rebates redeemed on or after December 1, 2009. This is due to an extremely high response rate to the program. The responses received have far exceeded numbers anticipated by our projections and this has resulted in a shortage of funds to meet required payments. We will continue to attempt payment for any qualified rebates that have been submitted prior to December 1, 2009."

Basically, they are just getting people's $9.95 and fleeing away, who knows where this money must be used. The site is owned by Steve Horwitz email: [email protected] contact: (815)577-3030. I am surprised these things can happen here in USA and there is no action taken by anyone.
