Changed Price at time of sale
Spoke to and met with Monty, a salesman, at Gay Pontiac over the course of two weeks about a car. He said they were willing to come down on the price as the car had been on the lot several months. We agreed on a price, he said he verified the price with the sales manager. Everyone understood I had 2 days to wait for my income tax check to hit my bank account via direct deposit. I stayed in contact with Monty every day. The day my money was deposited I went to the dealership. Myself and Monty along with my young daughters test drove the car one last time. I asked about an extended warranty... everything was good. Then he changed the price from 9, 000 which included TTL to 10, 700 PLUS TTL. He blamed the manager... I talked to the manager who had no idea what I was talking about. Monty was upset I talked to the manager so decided it was a good idea to curse me in front of my 13 and 14 year old daughters. I asked the manager to let me talk to the owner and he said he would not allow it.. he said she is too old and didn't need the stress... LIKE I DID? These people are liars, change prices at the last minute and then proceed to cover up for each other. Don't plan on talking to the owner.. it's not allowed. I will never do business with this group of crooks and plan to spread the word to save others from wasting their time like mine was wasted. Note: My mother sold cars for 30 plus years, she's deceased since 2002. Not all car sales people are liars and crooks but the ones at GAY PONTIAC ARE.
