I am one of your auto loan cutomer at hyderabad who has paid all his emi's for the car loan taken in 2004. The last emi paid was on 6th July, 09. ( all my emi cheques hit my account on 6th of every month).

After one month of my last emi i received a call from your executive from your chennai offce informing that my car loan is closed but for some charges of Rs.550/- towards cheque bouncng. I have a very clean record on my emi payments not only to GE but various other finance companies i have dealt. Except for the odd one in case of GE i have paid all my EMI's as per the schedule.

On one of the occassion in april 09 one of my cheque bounced due to a technical problem at your end ( admitted by your hyderabad office ) and they have given me a waiver letter in writing waiving off the charges.

I have tried explaining this to your executive (a female ) who called me but she never tries to understand the issue. I have offered to send a scanned copy of the letter issued by your hyd. office as a proof so that she can close my account and issue the NOC at the earliest. She doesn't seem to have the courtesy to listen to the customers and mechanically goes on repeating the same matter inspite of my request to understand the situation. She washes her hands off the matter saying that what she had to tell she has told me and thats it in a very adamant and arrogant manner least expected of a GE employee having cutomer interface as their profile.

It only makes me think that this girl is the inspiration behind you company tagline which goes about saying " Imagination at work" It only gave me the impression that whatever you imagine ( how unethical or illogical it could be) the cusomers will pay money in one form or the other as and when you demand. No wonder an apt tagline for a global brand like GE.

One request from a person who has unfailing kept all his commitments to GE is spare me from your "Imagination at work " philosophy and do not let it work on person like me else it gives lot of scope for imagination for a person like me who is a practicing advocate at high court of andhra pradesh.
