I had an account with GE Money Bank to pay for a chair, paid it in full and bought a mattress, also with a different account with GE Money Bank. The first check I sent to start payment on mattress went on the account for the chair which was paid in full. So now I have a credit on the first account (PIF) and no payment on the second account.d6be4

If you have any credit cards that are backed by GE Money Bank be forewarned that they are supposedly reviewing ALL credit card accounts and determining by their own methods whose cards they are cancelling. I went to use my Lowe's Visa Credit Card today, that as of two days ago had a $4, 000+ available credit limit, just to be embarrassed when the card was declined at a local JcPenney's. When I contacted Lowe's to find out what was going on, they informed me that GE Money, that backs the Lowes Visa Credit Card, did a large sweep of all accounts and closed them without any prior notification to their customers. I have heard that business is business, but in today's economy when patrons are barely surviving, how in the world could a company pull what may be the only life line that people have - their credit cards???? It is basic morals and ethics, we are talking about a time when people should be reaching out to help one another, not throw them under the bus. I am disgusted, embarrassed, and down-right mad!!! If I can find a legal loop hole, or if anyone knows of one, I sure would like to return the favor to GE Money Bank after what they have put me through. Not just for me, but for all of the unsuspecting people that are planning on using their credit cards to buy Christmas purchases this last weekend before the Holiday. Shame on you GE - you absolutely disgust me!!! I hope this action of yours turns around and hits you where it hurts the most, because that is what you have done to me and my family this holiday season! MERRY FREAKIN' CHRISTMAS TO YOU TOO!

GE Money Bank sent a letter to our home lowering my credit limit due to a TRW that I did not authorize. It said I was delinquent. I have never been delinquent with them. GE Money Bank holds two of my credit cards. My JC Penney and my PC Richards. It said I was delinquent on my PC Richards within the last twelve months. I haven't used that card in two years. When I called I was told it was based on my credit report. My wife's wasn't touched. I find that odd. Yes we both own different cards but the bulk of our credit is owed together.
I think they are doing this to destroy peoples credit. I think they are doing this to me because I do not use their credit cards enough. Either way They should be stopped. I don't know how to report them.

Everytime i call GEMB i'm put on hold for a extremely long period of time. I called to try and pay my husband's account (he's stationed in Iraq) they told me that they can't discuss his account with me. I asked to speak to a supervisor, was put on hold for 15-20 mins and then the phone hung up. The bill is due today 12/16 and I have been trying to get in touch with them for about 2 wks - and still trying!!! They are rude with unprofessional behavior!!! If the bill isn't paid by 4:00 EST they will charge a late fee of $39.00. GO FIGURE!! What is wrong with our government when it allows companies to continue robbery in the present day bottomed out economy?

This institution DOES NOT operate like a reputable bank. I filed a dispute with them back in October 2008. I havee been receiving phone calls and letters that they still want me to pay on the disputed item. They are the credit provider for American Laser Centers. The BIGGEST SCAM out there in the healthcare field. They have now filed with the Credit reporting agencies and it is ruingin my credit. They are a scam and do not care about their customers.
